we sat there for a little bit in silence tell mal spoke up.

"you know I'm really looking forward for two days, lets grab this wand and blow this popsicle stand.' mal said standing up and walking off with us following her.

I knew she was talking about coronation day which  was in two days. (I know from this point the coronation is in one day but I thought I would add a extra day mainly because I missed a ton of parts in this book.)  we followed mal all the way to he dorm. when we got there she opened the door and left it open as we all piled in and she flopped down on her bed. jay was the last one in so he closed the door behind him. 

"ok I'm going to need a quick recap on what has happened this week I've  been absent on what has been going on lately, but I do know that mal spelled ben right?" I say.

"yes mal did  love spell ben which means she will be in the front with him during coronation, and you wont believe what he did at the tourney game!' Evie said excitedly. 

"what he do?" I asked looking around the room tell mal answered.

"he sang how much he loved me in front of the whole school, it was embarrassing." saying this she put her head in her hands  probably from stress and embarrassment.

"oh come on it wasn't the whole school... I wasn't there." I say trying to sound reassuring  while I walked over and sat next to her with my hand on her back.

"yeah that's not helping much y/n." mal stated. 

I slowly took my and away from her back and let it fall to my side. I looked around and saw Evie was sitting on her bed jay was in a chair by a desk and Carlos was sitting on the floor at the end of Mal's bed. 

"what's the plan for  coronation day?" I ask braking the silence.

"well on coronation day mal is going to be up in the front with ben right by the wand, so when they take out the wand  mal will grab it and we'll all run down from our seats and help her." Carlos answered. 

I looked down at him and locked eyes with him. as I stared into his eyes butterflies formed in my stomach tell I looked away to look at Evie when she started talking.

      "so, Y/n I knew you didn't have a dress for coronation day  so I made you one that i think will look amazing on you!" Evie finished. 

"how did you know I didn't have one? and how did you know my size?" i questioned her.

"oh! I was looking threw your clothes that one day when we went to your dorm." Evie stated like it was normal.

I gave her a questioned look before answering her. "that makes sense."

  "ill bring it to your dorm room the night before coronation I still need to make some finishing touches." she told me. 

"alright sounds good, well I'm going to head to my dorm ill see you guys tomorrow." I said getting up from Mal's bed. 

i walked to the door and opened it walking out letting the door close behind me as I walked soon I herd someone yell.

"hey wait up!" Carlos yelled pushing the door to the girls dorm open before it closed. 

_Carlos's prov_

as she left I quickly got up and told everyone I was leaving. I ran to the door and pushed it open before it closed and I called out for y/n so I could catch up with her. she stopped in her tracks and turned around and looked at me as I caught up to her. 

"oh hey Carlos." she said smiling at me.

every time she smiled I felt my heart melt. 

"hey can I walk you to your dorm?" I asked as we started walking.

_y/n's prov_ 

can I walk you to your dorm? that question sent butterflies to my stomach. why would he want to walk me to my dorm? 

"yeah sure." I answered smiling at him again.  

the walk to my dorm was silent a awkward silence tell I decided to ask the question that has been killing me this whole walk to my dorm.

"why did you deicide to walk me to my dorm?" I questioned.

it was silent for a few seconds before he answered.

"I don't know actually I just guess I wanted to." 

we came up onto my dorm after a walk down a hall from the girls dorm room.

"well it was nice of you to walk me to my dorm  Carlos, thank you." I say opening the door.

"no problem, and if you need help with anything you can always ask me." Carlos said. 

I only smiled at him and started walking into my dorm seeing the kitty pool that still needed to be drained still sitting in the middle of my dorm, then I got a idea. 

"you know what Carlos there is something  you can help me with." I say walking back out the door to see Carlos turning around .

all I got was a nod and a small smile from Carlos. 

"I need help emptying that kitty pool that has been siting in my room for awhile, if you could please help me that would be great." I said.

he started walking towards my door tell he was standing in the door frame right by me. 

"I have a question, where did you get the kitty pool and how did you even manage to fill it?" Carlos asked walking into my dorm and over to the kitty pool. 

"ok first of all that was two questions not one, second they have little shops here and one had a plastic kitty pool so I bought it then I brought it here and filled a bucket with water then dumped it in the pool." I answered.  

"ok, anyways how are we going to empty it?" asked Carlos. 

"oh, that's right we are going to empty it the same way I filled it so grab a bucket sweetheart and help me scooping water out of this thing tell we can pick it up then well just dump the rest out the window." I told him while I walked to the sink and pulled you two buckets from the cabinet underneath and  threw one bucket at him. 

we scooped water in silence going back and forth from the pool and the bathroom to dump the water out in the sink. the water went down and down tell there was enough water left  in the pool to completely cover the bottom of the small blue kitty pool. 

"alright I think its light enough to carry and dump out the window." i say setting down the bucket and heading over to my window. 

the windows were surprisingly huge, when I moved the huge white curtains out of the way the light of the setting sun pored into my room. then I opened the window fully  taking in the fresh air.   

"here you grab one side I'll grab onto the other" i hear Carlos say from behind me.

I turn around and grab the other side of the kitty pool caring it to with window with Carlos's help. when we get it to the window we lift it up more and tip it watching all the water pour onto the ground below. after the water was all out I grabbed the pool from Carlos and set it leaning on the way by the window. 

_Carlos's prov_  

after she grabbed the small pool from and put it on a wall she looked out out the open window at the sun set as a small breeze  went threw the window hitting her hair and her ears. she looked beautiful, I already knew I was about to do something I might regret but I did it anyways.

"hey y/n?"

"yeah" she turned her head towards me.

I stepped forward and met my lips to hers bringing my hand up to rest on her cheek.
