Chapter 5- Prelims

"We're finally here!" Natsu groggily got off the train and plopped on the ground. Gray, Carla, and Natsu were close behind giving him oh-Mavis-can't-you-be-even-more-immature looks. Wendy gave him worried glances every now and then while Erza looked like he was about to punch his stomach again.

The whole guild traveled with them on a separate train, with Lucy too. Levy was holding Lucy, who was squirming in her arms. "Natsu! Natsu! Natsu-nii!" She kept saying. Once Natsu was recovered and stood up, Levy finally lost her grip and Lucy ran out. She ran to the crouched down, salmon haired boy and attached her body to his arm.

"Natsuuu" Lucy whispered as she fell asleep still attached to Natsu's arm. The whole guild was completely awed. Natsu blushed as he looked at Lucy. He carefully pulled his arm up, and used his free arm to make sure Lucy doesn't fall.

After the beautiful Nalu moment, the GMG members went to Sunset Curve, their new hotel. "So, if everything's the same, then the first thing is the Sky Labyrinth for the prelims right?" Gray asked. "Yeah, that's right. And we already know that my compass died, but with the help of Pyxis, we made it!" Erza recapped. They all looked at Lucy, who was playing with her toy dragon, Celestia.

Suddenly, Loke popped up in front of them. "Allow me to explain some things..." Loke went on about how a spirit's bond is unbreakable, even in spells, so Lucy remembers all of her spirits like the back of her hand. He also said that now that she unlocked some of her memories, and she found out she is an elemental slayer, meaning she can open gates to any realm she wanted. She can especially summon dragons from the dragon realm as well as she can with celestial spirits. That means Igneel, Grandeeny, Metalicana, and the other dragons can be summoned by Lucy.

Lucy's ears perked up at the dragon's names. "Iggy? Gwand? Metaw? Where are day? I miss auntie Gwand, Uncle Iggy, and uncle Metaw." Everyone was shocked by her words, even Loke! "Er... what?!" Natsu hesitantly said. "I-I don't know" Loke raised his hands in the air as the gang looked at him.

Then Virgo popped up. "Hello onii-chan, Natsu-chan, Erza-chan, Gray-chan, Gajeel-chan, and princess. We Zodiac spirits are researching on her past right now, and it seems Jude Heartfilia would take princess and Layla Heartfilia on trips to the dragon realm when she was six months old till she was 5 years old. And Jude Heartfilia was disguised, for he actually is Acnologia Heartfilia. When she was six years old, both parents decided to erase her memory of the dragon realm, and replace them with other happy memories.

Therefore, she retrieved her memories by an unknown reason. The only thing left to remind her of the dragons, was Michelle, but Lucy soon naturally forgot about her until a few years ago. It was a gift from the dragons, right before she got her memory erased. In conclusion, she has history with the dragons and know them as nakamas. (Friends)"

Everyone stared in shock at what Virgo just said. With her blank expression, she had sparkles in her eyes, and her mouth was shaped in a creepy smile. "Did I say something wrong? It it punishment time? Shall I get my punishment diary?!" Virgo squealed excitedly.

Loke was the first to speak. "Er, no, though thank you Virgo. It looks like all we know is cleared up to you, so we must be going now!" He grabbed Virgo's wrist and teleported out. They left the team shocked and frozen. Only Lucy's giggles could be heard across the room.

Just then, the clock strikes twelve. (this sounds like Cinderella) The hotel rose up in the air, and steps shown on the balcony. A screen showing Mato, the pumpkin guy, is broadcasted to the town.

"Time for the Prelims, Kabo! The sky Labyrinth is here, and you know what to do! Kabo! If the Labyrinth shifts, that means one team has already reached the goal! The first eight guilds will participate in the GMG!!! Have fun, kabo! Ready, set go! Kabo!" Mato disappears, and all the guilds start running.
