Chapter 19- Cella's Boyfriend

Cella POV
Today is the day! Again! The final day of the Grand Magic Games! But... I have to apologize to Rufus today too. Aww!!! It'll be soooo embarrassing!!!! M-maybe I'll just say sorry and make a run for it! Ya! Totally!

Okay! I got dressed into my usual attire and woke Nixie up. She was playing with Kiko all day yesterday, so she's pretty exhausted. Usually, she would be the one to wake me up, but I woke her up this time. I gently nudge her. "Hey hey! Nixie wake up!" I softly call out to her. "Nmggg! Huh? Cella? What time is it? ..... Oh no! I'm sorry I didn't wake you up like usual Cella! I'll do it again! Maybe with magic, I can do this day over again!" She panicked.

"Eh? Don't worry about it Nix! Your my friend and partner! Not a servant! Besides, you had fun yesterday with Kiko, right?" "Y-yeah! Thanks Cella! Your the best!" Cella turns into human form and hugs me. I hug back, but there are to many ornaments on her that I couldn't hug her all the way. "By the way Nix, can't you change your human form? It's getting kinda annoying. And why are you taller than me?" "Eh?" • • •

"Bye guys!" I say as I go outside the apartment with Nixie in my hair. "I hope Rufus will accept my apology." I muttered. "Just what exactly did you do to him yesterday?"

"Er... I kissed him on the cheek." I felt myself turning red. There was a bit of silence in the air at first. I looked at Nixie. She was frozen in shock. I stopped too. Then I softly nudged her fluff with a finger.

"WHAT!?!?!?" "Sheesh! Calm down! Everyone's looking at us!" To them, it sounded like a dragon's roar.

My face flushed red even more. "A-anyways, we need to keep going" I started running again. But Nixie kept on bothering me. "H-how did you do it!? What you say!? What did he say!?" I finally gave in. "Ugh! I don't know okay? After that, I was too embarrassed and I turned into a dragon and flew away!" "HOW!?" I sighed and kept on running.

Finally, we were at the Sabertooth's apartment door. There was a sign that said, Gremlin's Inn. As soon as I got there, I heard a scream. "WHAT?!?!" That was Minerva's scream. I wonder what they're doing in there.

I panted from exhaustion and leaned on the side of the wall for a little bit. I played with Nixie a bit in my hand, as she was jumping up and down to cheer me up. I giggled. I heard another scream. "WHAAT?!?!?!?" I ignored it this time. Then, I finally knocked on the door, and held my breath.

I hear someone saying something. "Coming!" "Sting-kun! You forgot your shirt!" "Oh thanks Yuki!" • • •

I squealed. But I tried to be quiet, so the people couldn't hear me. Finally, someone was at the door.

Rufus POV
I got of bed, took a quick shower and left to eat breakfast. But not before grabbing my favorite book off the bookshelf. I go downstairs. Our bartender is usually Cyclone, but he's not here... so Minerva filled in. I'm glad she stopped pushing us to call her mi'lady. But now she has a really weird habit. Matchmaking.

Anyways, I read my book as Minerva already prepares my meal. I was a bit surprised at first, but she has great memory, and she remembers everyone's schedule for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with exactly the right foods. I don't forget to keep the feather in my hat.

I wonder how Celestia is doing.... and that... kiss she gave me yesterday. I blush at the thought. Minerva noticed and came to me. "Whatcha blushing bout?" I froze. She was leaning on the table, showing that she's not gonna leave until I tell her. I sighed. There's no getting out of this one. "About... yesterday." "Well what happened yesterday?" She leaned in on the table farther, getting more interested.
