Sun-hee POV
As soon as I got to the school gates this morning, I was clamored by reporters.
"Tell me, what is All Might doing to teach his students?!" A female reporter yelled. It startled me, but I just kept a bland, bored face.
"I'm afraid you'll have to ask the school, not the students. It's only the third day and it's too early to gauge his teaching methods. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to get to class," I answered in a bored tone. I walked away from the reporter and entered the school. Geez, I'm glad I wasn't on the news a year ago. As soon as I got to the classroom, I sat down in my seat and sighed. Soon enough, Mr. Aizawa came in to start class.
"Decent work on yesterday's combat training, you guys," he started. "I saw the video feeds and went over each of your team's results. Bakugo. You're talented. So don't soak like a child about your loss, okay?"
"Yeah, whatever," Bakugo grumbled.
"And Midoriya," Aizawa continued. "I see the only way you won the match was by messing up your arm again. Work harder. And don't give me the excuse that you don't have control over your quirk. That line's already getting old. You can't keep breaking your body while training here. But your quirk will be really useful if you can get a handle on it. So show a little urgency, huh?"
"Right," Midoriya responded.
"Let's get down to business. Our first high school decides your future," Aizawa continued. We haven't picked a class representative. Maybe it's that. And sure enough Mr. Aizawa says, "You all need to pick a class representative." After he said that, everyone started telling how they wanted to be the representative. I wasn't begging for it, but if they wanted me to be class rep, I wouldn't turn it down.
"Silence, everyone, please," Iida yelled. We all turn to him waiting for him to speak. "The class representative's duty is to lead others. That's not something just anyone can do. You must first have the trust of every student in the classroom. Therefore, the most logical way to fill this position is democratically. We will hold an election to choose our leader!"
It's pretty obvious you want us to vote for you.
People began to protest the idea, but soon those protests became encouragement toward the idea. I ended up voting for Yoayurozu cause she seemed fit for the job. The results were Midoriya having three votes and I tied with Yoayurozu with two. Wonder who voted for me?
"Okay, you idiots! Who voted for him?!" Bakugo yelled.
"What, did you honestly think anyone was gonna vote for you?" Sero asked.
"What did you just say?!"
"There's a tie," Uraraka said next to me.
"Yoayurozu can have it," I say, waving my hand in dismissal.
"Really? But come on, Sun-hee. You are perfect for the job," Mina whined. Guess I know one of the people that voted for me.
"Mina, I was one of the people that voted for Yoayurozu. So, I think she should have it." Mina pouted in defeat and turned back around.
"Thank you, Jin," Yoayurozu thanked as she walked up to the podium next to Midoriya, who was oddly stiff and shaking.
"Alright, the class rep is Midoriya, and our deputy is Yoayurozu," Mr. Aizawa blandly announced.
"Really? Uh, it's not a mistake?" Midoriya asked.
"How'd this happen?" Yoayurozu sighed.
The class began making comments on how good Midoriya would be at this. He's just going to be a nervous wreck. He might get the hang of it eventually, but that's not likely.
