Yo hated parties. He hated them with every fiber of his being. But his stupid cousin and little brother insisted on dragging him to them anyway, no matter how much he protested or complained.

So here he was, once again, dressed in clothes he didn't remember ever buying, an untouched drink in his hand while he hid with his back to the corner, observing the rest of the room with disdain.

Yo rolled his eyes when he spotted Ming across the room, sweet talking his boyfriend, Kit. Kit was a year older than them, and was going to university this coming term. So Ming was trying to spend as much time as he could with the older guy. Yo was happy for Ming, that he'd finally found the one for him. Kit had made it difficult at first, not trusting that Ming really liked him when there were so many pretty girls in their school. But Ming had worn him down, and managed to get a 'yes' to one date, and the rest, as they say, is history.

I wish I could find someone for me, Yo thought miserably to himself, daring to take a tiny sip of the spiked punch. He made a face. Yuck! Movement across the room caught his attention. Kit's friends had joined him, teasing the couple and laughing when their faces grew pink. Yo snickered when Kit smacked one friend, the one named Beam.

"Alright!" A guy called, holding up an empty wine bottle. "Who wants to play spin the bottle?"

"Can we make it that you have to kiss whoever it is, no matter the gender?" A girl asked, and the whole room erupted with catcalls and hoots.

Yo frowned. Definitely not playing now. I'm not kissing any boys. He wasn't gay, and he didn't want to lose his first kiss in a stupid game. Call him sappy, but he wanted to kiss someone he cared about, not just smooch some random stranger. He swallowed hard when he saw his current crush, a senior named Lily, joining the game. Maybe...I'll get to kiss her...

"Yo! You coming?"

Yo sighed. Ming was such a persistent guy, there was no point in wasting his breath on refusing. "Yeah," he took another sip of his drink. "I'm coming."

The people playing were soon in a large circle spread around the room. A guy set the bottle in the middle, spinning it. It landed on a girl who started giggling like crazy.

This is so stupid, Yo complained, fiddling with his now empty cup. I want to go home. He watched the bottle spin around and around and around, forgetting who had just spun it.

His heart stopped when it landed on him.

The fuck...

Ming started laughing. "Poor Yo."

Yo shot him a black look. "Shut up, Ming."

Even Kit was giving him a sympathetic look. Yo had told him in confidence about having never kissed anyone. "Pha, be nice to him."

That had Yo's eyes widen in shock...and horror. Pha? As in, Phana Kongthanin?? The university guy who was friends with Kit's family?? Fuck no! Yo didn't want to kiss him! He was frozen in his seat, watching with growing dread as Phana Kongthanin stood up and sauntered over to him.

"Your name's Yo, right?" Phana's voice was smooth like melted chocolate.

"Uh..." Yo blinked up at him. "Yeah?"

Phana smirked down at him. "Well?"

It took a couple seconds for Yo to remember - yeah, right, I have to kiss him now. In front of everyone! Fuck... He scrambled to his feet, the blood rushing to his face in humiliation. "Er-" His eyes widened even further when Phana cut him off with a kiss.
