"Wake up!" I heard people yelling at me while I was being shaken away.
"Come on get up!"The voices continued yelling.
I just groaned and rolled to the side, pulling the covers up higher. Before I knew it the blankets were yanked off of me.
"What the heck, " I groaned while slowly opening my eyes.
Fred and George stood hoving over me with mischievous smiles on their faces.
"Morning, " George said happily.
"I'm going back to sleep, " I turned back onto my side again and closed my eyes.
"No you're not, " Fred said while shaking me again.
I finally gave up trying to sleep because I knew they would never leave me alone. I slowly sat up and opened my eyes, allowing them to adjust to the light.
"Finally, it's about time you got up, " George laughed.
"It is Christmas after all, " Fred added, "Breakfast is almost done, and after that, we are opening gifts."
I smiled and responded, "I'll be downstairs in a minute."
They left the room and shut the door, I smiled with happiness. Even though I wish I was able to go back to sleep there is no one else I would rather wake up to.
After a couple of minutes of trying to wake me up the rest of the way, I began to get dressed. I put on a white shirt which I tucked into my jeans then placed a red flannel over top.
I went into the bathroom and splashed water onto my face as a final attempt at waking myself up.
I went downstairs and sat at the table which was covered with delicious-looking food. I was back in my normal seat between each of the twins. George hadn't sat down yet but I was too hungry to wait. I filled my plate with tons of scrumptious food.
"Lex, look, " I turned to see what Fred was talking about but instead of being showed anything he put whipped cream onto my nose.
"You're on, " I responded while laughing.
I grabbed the spoon from the powdered sugar bowl and threw it into his face. He licked his lips and smiled before grabbing his wand from his pocket.
"Aquamenti, " he said while pointing it at me.
I scowled at him while I was sopping wet, "that's cheating!"
"Last I remember there were no rules, " He laughed.
Molly walked into the dining room from the kitchen and her mouth dropped when she saw us.
"What did you do!" she yelled, "it is a mess in here!"
We both pointed to each other and said at the same time, "He started it."
I scowled at him, "did not, it was your fault."
"I don't care who started it, you two better clean this mess now!" she yelled again.
When she left the room we both just started hysterically laughing. We cleaned up the mess we made then I went upstairs to change out of my now drenched clothes.
I looked through my suitcase for another outfit and quickly put it on after hanging up the clothes I had taken off so they could dry.
When I went downstairs I was handed a present from Molly and sat next to the twins while opening it. Inside the box was a hand-knit sweater that looked very familiar.
"Hey, that's just like the ones we got last year, " George pointed out.
I smiled, that was why it looked familiar. I put the scarf on even if it was a little too hot to wear inside.
