I woke up the next morning and slowly opened my eyes. I was confused because I couldn't remember where I was.
I stood up and yawned, looking around the room. When I saw the cabinet everything from last night came back. I rubbed my eyes trying to wake myself up the rest of the way.
I walked over to the door but stopped when I walked past the Mirror of Erised. I turned and looked into the mirror once again, noticing the ring on my finger. My stomach twisted while thinking about who could've given it to me.
I'm pretty sure I secretly knew the answer to that question but I kept telling myself I wasn't sure and that I didn't want to pick between the twins.
To think that two years ago I was still with Cedric and how much has changed since then was crazy. I reached to grab the ring he had given me when we had been together. I still wore it, layered with the necklace the twins recently gave me.
After a minute of reflecting on the past, I left the room and entered the hallway. The seventh floor was empty because no students ever needed to come up here.
I went back to the Gryffindor common room which had a few students inside. Luckily it was the weekend because otherwise I would have been late for my classes. I went up the stairs to my bedroom where I saw Ginny sitting on her bed.
She looked up at me and asked, "where were you last night?"
I struggled to decide whether I should tell the truth or not but decided against it. "I fell asleep in the common room, " I replied.
Ginny looked at me skeptically but didn't question me any further.
I didn't know what to say next but the silence was bothering me. My mind slowly drifted to Draco, I had to try harder to help him.
"I'll talk to you later Ginny, I think I'm going to get breakfast."
I walked to the great hall and sat besides Ron, Harry, and Hermione. Ron had been healthy enough to leave the hospital wing which I was grateful for. They were talking about how Ron had broken up with Lavender while in the hospital wing.
All of a sudden Hermione mentioned that Katie Bell was standing across the room. Harry stood up to talk to her, I watched Draco walk in the room and stare at them with a guilty look on his pale face.
Harry turned to see him and Draco immediately left the room. Harry quickly followed him and I watched worriedly. I hadn't even realized I was staring at the doorway until Hermione pointed it out.
"Hello, Alexa you there?" She said while waving her arm in front of my face.
I turned to look at them and replied, "uh yeah."
"Why are you acting so weird?" Ron asked with a single eyebrow raised.
"I'm not acting weird, " I protested. "I'm just a little tired, " I lied knowing I couldn't tell them the truth. Harry already knew about Draco being a Death Eater even if he hadn't seen the tattoo. But either way, I couldn't tell them directly that I'd seen it.
I had promised Harry I would tell him if I found out anything about Draco, but I also promised Draco I wouldn't tell anyone his secret.

Later that day I was sitting in the common room when Harry walked in. He looked guilty while quickly walking towards his room.
"Harry wait a minute, " I called over to him. He turned around and sighed before sitting next to me on the couch.
I just looked at him oddly for a second before finally saying, "are you ok, you are acting really weird."
"To be honest with you, no. I did something really stupid, " he responded.
