I arrived to school on my rabbit and the parking lot was practically empty. I walked into the school to my classroom.
I started grading my students assignments that I haven't graded yet. I hear a knock on my door. "Come in" I say. The door opens to reveal Bella.
"Hey school doesn't start for another 35 minutes, what are you doing here?" I asked her.
"Hi, yeah I know I came early cause I was hoping to talk to you about this whole thing" she said to me.
"Okay, just close the door and take a seat" I said. she closed the door and sat in front of me and I sat on my desk. "What did you want to talk about?" I asked her.
"This thing between us, we are mates, but the thing is that my whole life I never thought I would be attracted to girls and its so confusing and I don't know how to feel about it."she said to me.
"I understand Bella, your whole life you thought you would only like boys and when you met Edward you thought he would be the only one you would be with, the man you say your vows with when you get married, spend forever with.
I get it, I can see you are not ready to be with me, I will never make you do something you don't want to, I want you to make your own decisions and have free will.
I will wait eternity to be with you. No matter how long it takes I will wait for you because you are worth it, your my mate and you being happy is all I ask for even if its not with me." I said.
"Thank you for understanding."she said. I saw a tear escape her eye, so I walked up to her and put my hand on her cheek and wiped it away.
"Bella I love you and its okay if you don't love me back, but I would rather have you in my life as a friend than nothing at all, I wanna be here for you." I said.
She nodded and with that I walked close to her and kissed her forehead and let a tear slip from my eye.
It hurt to know she didn't want to be with me but I would have her be in my life as a friend than nothing.
She walked to the door but before she opened it she turned and looked at me and said "We are lucky to have you". "Bye Bella i'll see you later" I said. I went back to grading my papers.
