Slow beeps come from the life machine,
the face of my father is the saddest I've ever seen.
Tears roll down his face with dread,
knowing that his father shall soon be dead.
My heart yearned and ached that day,
as I stood there speechless, I didn't know what to say.
My grandfather, though in pain, smiled at me.
Saying, "don't worry, for I am with you no matter wherever I may be.
I know the time we have is running thin,
but one day we shall all be together again.
I love you all so much" he said,
as the last beat of his heart came...and he was dead......
