So the next day wasn't so much better.
An hour or so earlier, your dad came over to help you teach Midoriya how to catch a ball.
Which didn't go as well as you expected.
You both sat on Midoriya's doorsteps as you rubbed his back. "It doesn't look that bad. Dad should've gone easier on you, Zuku." You frowned, pulling him in for a hug. "O-oh, it's okay! I was just a little upset about my glove...," He trailed off, tossing the busted glove beside him. "And maybe at the fact that I suck at baseball." He stated as his eyes lidded, leaning his head on to your shoulder.
"Uh, hey." A voice greeted.
"Huh?" You said, looking towards a tall male. "S-Sero..." You blushed a little and look away, remembering your little outburst. "We need two more people for our game. You guys wanna come?" He asked, a bat slung over his shoulder. "Oh, I don't think so. My uh, glove is busted, so I can't play." Midoriya quickly made an excuse, peering back down at his shoes.
"That's alright man, you can borrow mine," Sero replied, pulling his glove out of his back pocket. Midoriya waved his hands frantically in front of his face, "Seriously! You don't want me! I'm not any good!" He shouted, startling the ravenette.
"Plus, your team is full of rude, sexists, dirtbags!" You huffed, crossing your arms and pouting cutely. "Yeah... Sorry about the guys. They can get riled up easily. Especially our empire." Sero apologized, sheepishly rubbing the nape of his neck. "Are you sure it'll be okay for us to play?" Midoriya asked, a hint of hopefulness lacing his tone.
"Yeah. We gotta get going though." He told, flashing his signature triangular grin. "Hold on a second," You said standing up, puffing out your cheeks. You bent over slightly towards the boy, fists resting gently against your hips. "I'll go under one condition," You stated, raising one finger in the air. "And that is?" Sero asked, leaning on the bat he just placed onto the ground.
"Buy me some Dum-Dums?" You asked, clasping your hands to your chest, giving him puppy dog eyes. "Hm, I don't know..." He teased, stroking his chin. "I'm sure I got a buck or two to buy you some." He grinned, making your eyes light up.
"Alright, let's go!" You smiled as Midoriya told his mom that you'd both be back later.

"You sure do love your suckers, huh?" Sero asked, walking out of the small store with you and Midoriya beside him. You nodded, sticking a grape Dum-Dum in your mouth. "As good as it is to eat them, it's even better to share them." You winked, handing the tallboy an orange sucker.
He eyed the sucker before he grinned, gladly taking the sugary treat from you. "Thanks-" He started, before being cut off by his spiky blonde empire. "I'm The Great Bambino, you dimwits." The blonde said in an agitated tone as the boys let out "Oh's" in realization.
"The Great Bambino? Who's that?" Midoriya asked, making all the boys jaws drop as you mentally sweatdropped.
"What did he say?"
They started calling out all his great nicknames as Midoriya played along. "Oh! I thought you meant something else." He muttered as the spiky blond scoffed, rolling his eyes. "I don't even know who this great bam bean toe guy is," Midoriya whispered, making you giggle as you pat his shoulder.
