"Kami! Throw to second!" Sero commanded, hitting the ball towards the blonde as he caught it, tossing it to second as he tossed it back to Bakugo. "Good. Now..." He handed the wooden bat to you. "Think you can hit it to Midoriya?" He asked as he slung an arm around you, pointing at your green-haired companion. You nodded as he handed you the ball and backed up out of batting range.

You crouched a bit, holding the bat in the right position. "Izuku! Throw to it to second!" You said, giving the boy a thumbs up. Bakugo laughed, "There's no way you're hitting that to him."

"Is that right?" You smirked.

"Just watch me."

You tossed the ball up, striking it with the bat as it flew overhead right in the direction of Midoriya. "Woah!" Shinso said aloud. "I-I got it!" Midoriya shouted as he timidly held up his glove as the ball hit the side of the glove as he fell to the ground. He quickly rose to his feet as he grabbed the ball and ran toward a Shinso.

The boys watched him in shock as he plopped the ball into the sleepy-eyed boys' hand. "Here you go..." He said, running back to his position on the field. Some of the boys shook their heads and groaned in disappointment. You frowned at their reactions, dropping the bat and getting ready to go check on Midoriya as Sero grabbed your shoulder.

"I got it. I'm gonna give him some pointers." He gave you a thumbs up before jogging off towards Midoriya. "Hey, uh, Y/n was it?" The purple-haired male asked as you nodded, perching the bat on your shoulder. "You're pretty good for a girl." He said as you gave him a closed-eye smile.

"T-Thanks! You're a really good pitcher Toshi!" You beamed as the boy flushed red. "A-ah! I'm so sorry! It's a bad habit of mine!" You apologized, pressing your hands together in a praying motion. "It's fine, I guess. I did call you by your first name, so it's only fair..." He replied looking away.

"I guess you're not that bad for a snot-nosed, crybaby, Shittyama," Bakugo smirked from his crouching position. "Hey! That was you guys' fault! I'm a very sensitive girl when I get talked about!" You protested, a fist to your chest while the other one waved wildly in the air. "Learn to take a hit, you cissy!" Bakugo barked back.

"Waah! You're so mean, Bakago!" You pouted, giving him a nickname as you turned away from the spiky blonde. "What the hell did you just call me!?" He shouted at you as Sero came jogging back.

"Hey, Hey, calm down you two." He said, sweatdropping as Bakugo growled, shaking his fist at you as you pulled on your eye and stuck out your tongue at him. You set the bat into his hands as you pulled him closer to your face. "How is Zuku supposed to catch the ball standing as stiff as a board?" You asked, peering at your friend.

Sero grinned, taking the bat from your grasp, "I got it taken care of. Trust me." He winked, gently pushing you towards the shaded, makeshift pit. You watched his face contort into a serious one as he pointed his bat to Midoriya.

"Midoriya! Throw it to second!" He announced as the freckled male nodded, holding his gloved hand up.

You shut your eyes tightly and crossed your fingers, praying that the baseball gods would bless Midoriya with a catch. You trusted Sero would get it taken care of as he said.

He was the neighborhood legend after all.

Midoriya ended up catching the ball and tossing it to Kaminari with ease as everyone started to get excited. "Finally Deku did something right for once," Bakugo said. He glowed with happiness and gave Sero a thumbs up as you cheered loudly for him. Cupping your mouth, you shouted,

"Great job, Izuku! I'm so proud of you!"

"Y/n! Did you see that!? I did it! I'm finally playing the game!" He announced as you giggled cutely, catching the attention of the boys as they've never heard such a pretty sound. Sero handed you the bat, as it was your turn again.

Midoriya turned towards the fence, gazing at it with curiosity as it rattled and shook once again.

"See you losers tomorrow. You too, Shittyama."

"I said call me Y/n, Bakugo!" You whined as he ignores you, walking into his yard. Sero chuckled, scratching his cheek. "He'll come around, don't worry too much about him," He assured you, glancing back at his hot-headed empire. "Bakugo's always been that way." You nodded, trying not to drag your tired feet.

You treaded home, Sero on your left, Midoriya to your right. "Hey Midoriya, tomorrow can you wear a t-shirt and jeans?" Sero asked as he nodded enthusiastically.

"Yeah, of course!"

"Oh, do you have a fireplace?" The ravenette questioned again. "Yeah, why?" He wondered as Sero pulled his cap down. "Throw that hat in it." Midoriya explained how it was his only hat and Sero gave him his old one, which has the name 'Edgeshot' sewed into it.

Sero let him keep the glove he borrowed earlier that day as well, making the freckled boy burst with excitement as he ran to go tell his mom the news. "Now Y/n, you might want to start tying up your hair and probably start bringing a hat too," Sero suggested, twirling his finger as you nodded in consideration. "Do you need a glove? I'm sure I got-"

"Oh no, it's okay! As a baseball fanatic, I have my own glove and bat!" You stated proudly, shocking the boy a bit. "Cool. So where's your house?" He asked as you pointed towards a dark blue house. "No way, you live right next to me? How did I never notice before?" He questioned.

"My dad says I'm sunshine, so I'm not sure how you'd miss me." You joked, making him laugh. "Anyways, I'll see you tomorrow at 8, yeah?" He asked as you waved goodbye to him. "Yeah! Most definitely!" You beamed, running into your house.

"I can finally relax! I'm starving!" You whined, walking into your bedroom with a bowl of cold soba. You sat on the bed, playing with the hem of the large Snipe t-shirt that stopped at your knees.

Tap.

"Huh? Where's that noise coming from?" You asked yourself as another tap sounded from the window. Pushing open the curtain, you peered out to see a handful of pebbles in Sero's hand as he waved at you with his free one.

You raised the window, leaning slightly out of it. "Wonderful night we're having, Romeo." You joked with him, making him roll his eyes. "It's lovely to see you too, Princess." He teased, making you flush red. "What are you doing throwing pebbles at my window so late at night?" You asked, leaning against the palm of your hand.

"Oh, you know," He started, "I just thought it would be cool to get to know you better." He cheesily grinned, picking up an object. "Catch!" He whisper-shouted, tossing a can with a string on the end of it. You looked back to the taller male as he successfully tossed the other end into his window.

Sero held up an okay sign with his hand as he quietly snuck into his backdoor. "Pull it right on your end and shut the window!" He whisper-shouted once more as you nodded, pulling the string tight, shutting the window as Sero did the same.

You took a deep breath, tapping the side of the can, and said, "Hello..?" A few seconds of silence went by as you glanced at Sero's window through yours. You watched him as he made a confused look, cupping a hand over his ear.

"Hanta?" You breathed, his name passing through your lips as smooth as honey.

Sero covered his mouth, his stomach doing flips while his face and ears turning a deep, crimson red.

"C-can you hear me?" You stammered, gently placing your knuckle between your teeth.

"Yes, Princess?"
