Mugman was quick to fire his shots, but Bendy seemed completely unaffected. No matter how many shots were fired the demon was merely grazed.

"Huh?! What's going here. I'm not sure what trick you have going under your sleeves but-"

"Y a w n, geez Mugboy you're gonna put me to sleep if ya keep yapping your mouth off"

Just as he said that he fired a shot of his own. The shot landed on Mugman. It was a critical hit.

"MUGMAN!" Cuphead shot a glare at the demon, to be a devil's lackey was one thing but hurting his bro was a completely different level

Cuphead started to aim his shots but just like with Mugman's shots his had no affect on him either.

"E x t e n d o A r m s"

Suddenly his arm extended and grabbed the cup brothers.

"Look I'm gonna be really here, I didn't want to have to deal with this but you two seemed to be really asking for it"

Mugman who was grasping for air spoke up

"Weren't you sent out by the Devil"

Bendy's cartoony face turned to that of a grim expression and suddenly his form started to change and so did his voice.

"I could easily end you two right here but I won't , and you know why? "

He slowly raised the Cup brothers even higher...

"Because I hate it when I have to be shelf so suddenly"

With that all said he slammed the Cup brothers in to ground. Trapping them in a blob of ink and the menacing ink demon turned back into his cartoony old self.

"Geez, do you porcelain knuckleheads always get on people's nerve this easily? Welp since you two are stuck in this predicament I think I'm gonna explore some more. Toodles!"

The ink demon trotted away leaving the brothers to struggle.

"Hey!Come back here!"

"Mugs let him go, it's no use"

"But we can't just leave him wandering around what if someone gets hurt, we know what he's capable of now!"

Mugman did have a point Cuphead thought, but even then the ink demons word was ringing in his ears 'I hate when I have to be shelf so suddenly?' What did that even mean? Was there perhaps more to the demon then meets the eyes.

Maybe the best thing to do was to get to know the demon better? As ridiculous as that sounded, he knew that if he wanted to stop demon he had to know the demon. So with that mind this was his new plan.
