Lucidly Ludicrous

The piece of glass now embedded in her chest,

Made her blood ooze out,

Dripped on the floor, filled her with lest,

Stifled, she couldn't shout.

The piercing blade now through her chest,

Pinned her to the wall,

Here ended her life's quest,

Her innocence had lead to it all.

A garish glint in the eye,

Of the stranger she'd just made friend,

The stranger she trusted too fast, but why,

For she was gullibe to no end.

Never had the mistrust or doubt,

As she'd befriend a stranger,

Now she was weak, she couldn't  shout,

Gullibility just leads to danger.

Her spine vibrated,

As the blood spilled out her knows,

An open book she'd been fated,

Lucidly ludicrous as everyone knows.

She told him all her weaknesses,

For the very first time they'd met,

And he used those secrets,

And stabbed her in the chest.

The madman thrust the knife in her knee,

As she felt every cell in her body burst,

She opened her mouth but couldn't speak,

Too busy quenching insatiable bloodthirst.

Her eyes bloodshot and red,

No longer connected to her gaunt body,

She was young and she was dead,

All for she had been ludicrous lucidly.
