"So , did you finish the book?"

Samuel and I decided to meet at a park nearby. It was one of those weeks where every day had its own season. And today was burning hot , so we've decided to eat icecream instead of drinking coffee like every other time . It was a great idea. Not for the icecream though.

"How could I finish such a book in a short amount of time? Let me guess ! You did , didn't you?" He laughed at my raised eyebrow and nodded .

"I've read it a year ago but for some reason, I've kept in my bag . Fate really wanted me to give it to you."

I smiled as I let him wrap his arm around my shoulders. We've gotten really comfortable with each other these past few weeks so it was normal for us to hold hands or hug each other even . I was quite uncomfortable at first but then I got used to it .I wished he and Luana could meet. She would have certainly loved him.

"So , what did you want to tell me?" He asks curiously. Let's just say that I ran out of the house saying that I have something really important to tell him in a panicked tone. He panicked as well but then I had to calm him down . My dramatic arse would panic every time something happens.

"Y-yeah." Darn, it's not a good time for stuttering. But I couldn't help it . It really might be the end of our friendship. "Well , before I tell you , I'd like to say that I really enjoyed my time with you and I'm so happy that I've met you--"

"Are you breaking our friendship?" He asked frowning.

"No! I would never!"

"Are you leaving the town?" He asked once again.

"Look I'm married!" I blurt out . Well this was not how I wanted to tell him . . . Most definitely not .I just spelled the beans!

"Oh." He removed the arm that was draped around my shoulders and placed it on his lap .

Oh no.

"Why didn't you tell me before ; Hazel?" I didn't dare to look at him but he wasn't looking at me either.

"I'm so sorry . I never meant to hide it from you ; the topic just never came?"

Excuse me while I pass away.

"This isn't just any topic, Murray. " He stood up , brushing a hand through his hair. He was calm though. I thought he would cuss and shout like Dominick would do .

Why am I even thinking about him anyway?

"Sam , it's a loveless marriage believe me ! I'm not someone cruel who would just cheat on their husband! You know me better than that . He even knows about our friendship." I reasoned.

In my defense, I'm not involved in any kind of relationship other than a friendship with Sam. It does not consider as cheating , not literally anyway.

"God Hazel you're actually cheating on him . And now , I'm worried about you because Hazel , I really really like you."

My heartbeats start accelerating at his words . I've heard it from my husbands but the only thing I've ever felt was disgust . Well , Dominick said it too but he was just talking rubbish.

"You like me?"

"Fuck you're amazing how could I not?! I've liked you since the moment my shoulder bumped yours !" He exclaims, looking at me , waiting for me to probably say it back?

Yes , I do like him ! Off course.

"I" Come on say it back ! " I li-" What the hell is happening to me? I like him ! Why aren't the words coming out of my bloody mouth! It's okay Hazel , tell him that you like him too and that you will fix everything; that he doesn't have to worry ; that everything will be alright.
