Endeavor was beyond furious. First his first son, then his youngest son, his oh so perfect son, then his arm and now his Quirk. The world really seemed to hate him. He sat miserably at the Head Office in his agency, perfectly aware that he was going to have to step down from being a hero because there was no way he could continue.
Bakugo found himself indifferent to Endeavor's plight. He was rather invested in wondering why had he decided to save Iida and potentially ruin his limbs. Iida was probably wondering the same thing as well.
"Are you fucking suicidal?" the Class Representative swore.
"Did you just break a fucking rule?" Bakugo shot back, "And no, I don't know what I did or why I did it. I just knew I had to." Thinking for a moment he added, "Besides, I am aspiring to be a hero too, you know."
"You know, such unexpectedly heroic actions are either taken as a crime or as a really unexpected occurence."
Shota Aizawa wasn't amused at all. He had started their training as soon as he had completely recovered which is why he gave the weekends off. He hadn't definitely thought of Bakugo running to Hosu City and getting injured (again) along with Tenya Iida who he had hoped wouldn't be that irrational. Well, hope wasn't rational, but neither were any of his students' actions.
A guilty Manual came in, followed by an Inspector.
They heard how things had been prepared so that they wouldn't he implicated much. Much being the keyword there. Apparently the villain, who had leaked the videos onto YT had blurred out both Iida and Bakugo from it. They didn't know what to think of it.
On the other hand, Stain was far from amused.
First off, not only had his "righteous" deeds had been interrupted, and then he had been interrupted in his monologue.
He sat grumpily at the bar table with Izuku explaining how they planned to preach.
"Hopefully," the boy said, with a side glance at Tomura, "This would bring in new recruits. Your philosophy is attractive and catchy. We might get more supporters than you think."
Todoroki rubbed his eyes. On a rule, he preferred to stay awake for as long as he could so that when he did fall asleep, the sleep would be dreamless and peaceful. Better than a proper sleep schedule with waking up every night shaking for some reason or the other.
Aizawa would have sympathised. The man was currently occupied with the exhausting (as he preached to others, but Yamada was well aware that he enjoyed it) task of telling his students about the test. If they failed, apparently they wouldn't be allowed to go to the summer camp.
The written was okay enough, but they didn't have much of an idea about the practicals. Shinso had been moved into Class 1-A and Mineta had been demoted (for a good reason) to General Education. It didn't mean that he had lost his chance to be a hero, it was just to teach him "humility" as Aizawa put it as.
After a week of putting up with his mostly silent fellow internee, Bakugo found that he didn't expressly mind Shinso's presence that much.
Iida had gotten back to yelling orders.
Everything seemed fine...almost, except Bakugo could feel that it wasn't.
The practical test turned out to be fighting against the teachers. Two students versus one teacher.
Bakugo and Shinso had been assigned to All Might.
He was perfectly aware of why they had been teamed up, even if it didn't stop him from grinding his teeth. Shinso had quizzed him on All Might for the entirety of their waiting time, as he gritted his teeth. He hated this, relying on "teammates" but he also realised that this had led to him losing his Quirk. So he bore this irritation with patience as they discussed strategies on how to get All Might to crack. It would just take a simple reply from him for them to win. Shinso anxiously fiddled with his capture weapon, Eraserhead's defining scarf. Bakugo glared at the twin sticks in his hands, connected by a string, looking as if he wished to incinerate it on the spot.
