The Hashira meeting came to end, Tanjiro was granted permission by Ubuyashiki to continue his journey as a demon slayer with his demon sister Nezuko.  And with it, everyone was dismissed. Rengoku had another mission coming up, he would be boarding a train that held many sudden disappearances. There had to be a demon that would be the reason for this.

"I wish you the best of luck," Shinobu said, smiling softly at the flame Hashira. Rengoku smiled and nodded, "Thank you," he said, his gaze then drifted off to Giyuu. "Kocho-sama....what can you tell me about Tomioka?" He asked. His face softened as his amber eyes shimmered at the sight of Giyuu. "Hm? Tomioka-san?" Shinobu looked over to the Water Hashira. "He obviously has no life outside here, otherwise he'd be gone already." She said.

"Haha," Rengoku laughed a bit. "But now that you mention it, I don't really know much about him." Shinobu said. "I have to admit, the fact that he put his life in the hands of these children surprised me." She said. Rengoku's eyebrows furrowed, "Why does he put that much faith in them?" He asked. "Maybe...Kamado reminds him of himself in a way. Or at least who he used to be." Shinobu said.

"After what?" Rengoku asked. "Hm?" Shinobu looked at Rengoku. "You implied...he changed after something happened." Rengoku said. Shinobu nodded. "I know he lost something...or someone a long time ago. But that's about it." She hummed. "I see..." Rengoku said.

"Well then, I'm off." Shinobu smiled. "See you some other time," She said, walking off. Rengoku approached Giyuu cautiously. "Tomioka!" Rengoku called out with a large smile. Giyuu's soft blue eyes looked over at Rengoku, "Kyojuro..." He mumbled. "Do you have a moment to talk?" Rengoku asked. Giyuu's body shifted as he faced Rengoku with his full attention. "Could we perhaps take the conversation elsewhere?" Giyuu asked, beginning to walk off. "Of course," Rengoku nodded and walked with Giyuu.

"Where are we now?" Rengoku blinked with curiosity. "My home," Giyuu said. "Don't memorize the way we came." He said. "...right." Rengoku nodded as they entered the home together. "What is it you wanting to talk about?" Giyuu asked, taking his haori off and hanging it up.

"....why is your haori like that?" Rengoku asked. Giyuu looked back at Rengoku. "That was your question?" He grumbled. "N-No, not entirely. I'm just...curious." He said. "It's been a motivation for me," Giyuu said. "Whenever I succumb to the darkest of thoughts....I think of the people who I carry with me," *Giyuu reached up and touched his own cheek. "And the memories I have with them."  (*if anyone gets the reference as to why I added that action, comment and get a cookie-)

"So you have lost someone," Rengoku said, his expression saddened. "As a demon slayer, you are obviously going to lose someone or something, your goal is to make sure it doesn't happen again." Giyuu said. Rengoku smiled, he admired Tomioka so much. His words were always poetic, the way his eyes were always a dark and deep blue color. His soft voice brought an honest amount of blush on Rengoku's cheeks. "Tomioka, your speech was very inspiring!" He cheered.

"Thank you," Giyuu replied sheepishly. "You know, on a battlefield, you and I would be quite the duo!" Rengoku said. "Flame and Water!" He said triumphantly. "Hm," Giyuu's lips formed a small smile as he let out a gentle chuckle. "Don't you agree?" Rengoku smiled. Giyuu's eyes narrowed and seemed to shimmer as he looked at Rengoku. "I'll talk to Master Ubuyashiki some point this week about teaming us up in future missions," He said. Rengoku's eyes widened, blush invading his face even more. "Y-Yeah! He said.

"Now then, you do have a mission you must be getting to." Giyuu said, his smile remaining. "Right," Rengoku nodded, his blush faded as his eyes narrowed.  "Farewell,"
