Sonic vs Infinite

(Sonic's POV)

Infinite just stands there and watches us fight his illusions like this is his entertainment. Coward dog! I'll show him what it means to fight with honor and justice.

"Hey dog head! Fetch this!" I threw the spear at him at a good aim and it knocked him out from being hovered in the air.

"AAAGH! How dare you?!" Infinite got up glaring at me.

"You're not so powerful! You can't even fight man against man!" I taunted him.

"You despicable bird boy!" Infinite made a red cube barrier to make my mind see things that aren't real.

But I simply took a deep breath to focus on what's not real. I saw some mummies approach me but that won't fool me. "You're not fooling my mind, Infinite!" I said and whacked them out of my way.

"Impossible!" Infinite gasps.

"The bird catches his prey." I smirked and ran towards that jackal.

I reared my fist back and punched him hard in the gut and then dashed at him from behind. "Feeling defeat yet, Infinite?!" I taunted.

"Not yet!" Infinite drew his sword out.

"WHOA!!" I jumped out of the way from being sliced off. "You fight like a dog!"

"Don't you dare insult me!" He swung his sword at me again.

"Insulting you makes you weaker, Infinite." I blocked his sword with my spear.

Infinite struggled and then clashed of and struck at my chest giving me a cut. "ARGH!" I screamed.

"Like cutting the bird's feathers!" Infinite laughed.

"And you still have your ugly face behind that mask!" I punched his mask which broke a bit.

"AGH!! How dare you!" Infinite then used another cube particle at me, this time making giant scorpions.

"Oh, come on! I hate scorpions!" I backed away from them.

"Let's see how you handle that?!" Infinite sneered.

I'm no match for these giant monsters because one sting and I'm dead for good. One tried to sting me but I avoided it. Oh yes they are not real. I hate these illusions but they can harm me for real.

"Feeling the sting, are you?!" Infinite cackled.

"Not if I have anything to say about it!" I jumped making two scorpions sting each other. Then I jumped onto other scorpions causing them too to sting each other too. "Yeah!" I laughed.

"Why you persistent bird king!" Infinite growled.

"Call me Pharaoh Sonic!" I glared.

"DIE!!!" Infinite was about to attack again when Amy whacked him.

"You should be bowing to the pharaoh!" Amy yelled.

"I bow to no one!" Infinite creates another illusion again. Only this time its shadowy black versions of me and Amy with glowing red eyes.

"Destroy them!" He ordered the two.

"Oh come here Sonic!" Fake Amy attacked me.

"Grrrr........You're not her!" I did not hold back just because she looks like her but I do know that this fake lady has no soul.

"Stay back fake Sonic!" Amy defended herself against my dark self.

"Aww....you wouldn't hurt me?" Fake Sonic chuckled evilly.

"Stop!" Amy swung her weapon at him but he disarmed her and dashed at her.

I got in front of her and whacked my counterpart away from her. "Get away from my queen!!!" I shouted.

Just then, Infinite made illusions of mummies to outnumber me, Amy, Shadow, and Silver. We huddle our backs against each other since this is not gonna be easy because we are surrounded.

"What do we do now?" Silver gulped.

"I don't know!" I was freaking out.

Suddenly, purple blasts came out of nowhere like meteor shower raining down and fireballs burning the mummies' bandages.

"Leave our majesties alone!" Shouted a familiar blue-violet hedgehog.

"The royal hedgehogs live!" The feline purple cat said with flames in her hands.

"Blaze! Nebula! You made it!" Silver smiled.

"Told ya I use my 9 lives to save anyone, Silver." Blaze smiled.

"Now let's show Infinite who's the true boss!" I grinned and we all gathered ready to face Infinite along with his army and illusions.

"Men! CHARGE!!!" I heard Knuckles yell to his soldiers.

"Saving the day for me, Knux?" I teased him with my cocky attitude.

"You asked for it." He rolls his eyes and runs with his echidna soldiers.

"You'll need this, Your Highness." Nebula hands me a new bow and arrows.

"That's more like it!" I loaded my bow and shot at some of Infinite's men.

Amy fought alongside me while Shadow and Silver fought with the two girls.

"Come get some!" Amy whacks off the head of a mummy soldier.

"Infinite is trying to tire us out!" I said.

"You gotta get that ruby off of him! He's vulnerable without it" Amy said.

"Got it!" I ran after Infinite.

He saw me and fires a red beam at me. "You're no match for the phantom ruby, hedgehog!"

"And you're no match for my speed!" I ran and dodged as everything around me began to go still in slow motion time due to my speed.

This could be my chance getting the ruby off him. I ran up to Infinite and banged on his helmet repeatedly before I get the ruby, just to make him dizzy. With all my might, I removed the phantom ruby off his chest. As time goes normal, Infinite stood there dizzy before noticing the ruby in my hand.

"No! GIVE IT TO ME!!!" Infinite exclaimed.

"Nah, you're too ancient old to play with toys." I smirked and smashed it on the ground.

The illusions vanished into thin air but his army jackal mummies are still going. So, the only thing that's left is him to stop the war.

"Jackals! Retreat!!!" Infinite called out to his army.

I gotta strike his heart with my arrow; so, I pulled by bow and targeted him. "Say goodnight, warmonger!"

I shot the arrow at Infinite as he tried to escape and it impaled him through his heart.

"AGGHH!!! NO!!!" Infinite screamed in pain.

"Say hello to Anubis when you die." I said.

With him impaled and his body destroyed into pieces, all of his mummy jackals turned to sand and went back into the desert like a sandstorm. Looks like we won for the first time.

"We won Sonic!" Tails ran up and hugged me.

"We sure did little bro" I hugged back.
