Vampire Knight: Zero's Love

A new beginning?

   The teacher leaves us and I look over at him. "I'm sorry..." I say to him hoping not to anger him. "No...Im the one who should be sorry.... I had no reason to act like that towards you. It wont happen again." I look in his eyes and hear in his voice the promise and sorrow. I nod at him and we talk for the rest of class and i answer his questions.  We leave class early to start our Disciplinary Committee job. I checked to make sure that my scythe is still in its switchblade-like position, so i could just use a flick of my wrist to open it fully. I find myself checking frequently as we walk towards the night classes Gate. He looks so calm as we walk, with his white hair gently moving as we walk. He looks over at me and gives me a resurring smile and we stop at the gate. He checks his gun and puts it back in his pocket. "You dont have to worry, Most of the time nothing happens so you can relax." he says to me as he looks over at the Night Class Dorms. I relax a little at those words and say,"So what usually happens around here?" He looks away from the night class dorms and leans against the wall by the gate. "Well. Girls are always trying to sneak into the night class, so we have to make sure that they dont. Usually they come around this time. After class is the worst. They dont really leave at night, but it happens." I let out a sigh of relief and look up at the dorms. Everything seems so peaceful, its hard to imagine that a bunch of girls are in love with a group of vampires, but I guess i can see why. Vampires are supposed to look flawless. " Oh, Okay. Thanks Zero. I hope we have fun doing this. Lets give it our best,Okay?" I say with a smile as I turn to him. He looks at me shocked and then then looks at the ground,"Yeah...Lets do that..." I sense a bit of pain in his voice. I wonder if she would tell him that. I could feel myself feel a chill of sadness run over my body. 'I dont want to be compared to her anymore' I thought to myself. The class bell rings and Zero straightens himself up."Get ready." he says and I suddenly hear alot of footsteps hurrying this way. "I hope they havent left yet!" I hear a girls voice say as the steps get louder and faster. "Of course not! They always leave at the same time!" another girls voice says in a hurry. i look over at Zero and see him leaning against a tree thats right by me. I look over to see huge groups of girls running this way. They all get to the gate and stop. Some where out of breath and many Ran up to us asking, 'Have they left yet?' and 'Are we to late?' and also some 'Is it okay if we just go through the gate? Just once?' Zero tells them,"You guys already know the answer to those questions. They always leave at the same time and you are never allowed past this gate. They look away with disappointment and I look over and see some girls trying to climb the wall. "Hey! Get down from there!" I yell as I run over there and take them down from the wall.They Look at me with Hatred filled eyes and go over and talk with some other girls. I have to push back all of the girls who try to get to close to the wall and gate and who wont stay where they are supposed to. I let out a sigh and look over at Zero. He glares at them and none of them move. They all stay where they are and wait, And im pretty sure the girls im dealing with are planning on how to kill me by now. Suddenly the gate starts to open and the girls go crazy. I push them all back and one girl pushes me to the floor and i end up in an open path. I look to see all the girls staying still and shouting there confessions of love to the night class. I hear a group of footsteps. They come closer and stop. I hide my necklace in my shirt. "Are you alright? Here, take my hand." I hear a Kind voice say and I look up. I see a guy who looks about my age with Blonde hair and Eyes that are a beautiful blue. He smiles at me and holds out his hand. I hesitantly give my hand to the vampire in front of me and helps me up. It takes everything i have not to reach for my scyth. Vampires were the ones who killed my family and everyone close to me. I can't trust them yet. But... I need to give them a chance. Not all vampires can be bad... Right? "Thank you..." I say to him with a smile. "I don't think we have met. Are you new here? What's your name?" He says to me and I can feel the hatred of those girls suffocating the atmosphere around me. "Hey slow down, your gonna scare her." i hear another voice say. This guy looked about a year older or maybe two years older than the blonde haired vampire who's hand is still holding mine. This guy had a more orangish-blonde hair and redish brown eyes. He looks at me and looks surprised."She looks like-" he was cut off by Zero,"Get your hands off her." he said as he started to get mad." The vampire still touching me only smiled and kissed the back of my hand as Zero came up to us. "Well, I see what Akatsuki means. She does look like her." The one known as akatsuki smiles and says,"Yeah. Its nice to meet you." Zero comes up and takes me from the one who had kissed my hand. "Its nice to meet you too. Im-" "Leaving." Zero said in a low voice that only they could really hear. "You know, we only want to be her friend Zero." I could feel the intense atmosphere around me. The girls all looked at us as if we were in a suspenseful thriller movie. "I guess i know why you want to protect her. Because she looks really close to being-" The blonde haired vampire had cut him off." Now, now Akatsuki. There's no need to bring up the past. Master Kaname is going to be back soon so we should probably get going.It was nice meeting you, but next time. I want to know your name."I hugged Zero and he hugged me close to him. I could hear his heart beat getting faster. "Wait!" i said as he turned away. Zero lowly spoke to him,"When? and.....Is she coming to...?"He tightened his hold on me. The blonde just smiled at Zero and said,"Yeah she is. But dont worry. We promised the headmaster that nothing would happen. Its going to be like how it used to be,okay? No fighting or anything." Then the group of 6 vampires walked away. The girls left after they did and zero kept huggig me. I hugged him back sensing his pain. A few minutes later we started walking and he said," I'll walk you to your dorm..." I smiled,"Thanks Zero."  we walked over there in silence, both of us still thinking about what had happened. We get to my room of the dorm and I unlock the door. When i step in he says,"Please...Be careful around them." I nodded and told him,"Of course. Don't worry about me." he suddenly replies,"but I can't help it. No matter what I do i cant stop thinking about you." i look at him shocked and pull him inside my room. He closes the door and we continue our conversation. "Same here...Hey, why don't you stay here tonight?" He looks at me with his purple-gray eyes and I smile and give him a kiss on the cheek. "Please?" He looks at me and nods. "Okay. I'll be right back. I need to take a shower." "You can use mine. I was supposed to give you this, the headmaster dropped it off when i was asleep I guess." i hand the clothes and he takes them. "Thanks..." He goes and takes a shower. I get dressed in my pajamas and look in my full body mirror I close my eyes and I have a flashback of my parents talking to me when i was a kid, telling me all about the adventures they had and wanted to take me on.I smile sadly and suddenly i hear a loud noise. I snap out of it and hear zero coffing. "Zero? Are you Okay?" I said and knocked on the door. "I-Im fine." He said and opens the door.Relieved, I let out a happy sigh and hugged him. He hugged me back and told me that everything will be okay. I cant help but believe him and give him the same assurance. I told him about how i wanted to protect him from hurt  and always be with him. he kissed my lips with his soft ones and said,"Then be mine. Forever." I cant help but get all teary eyed and say,"Of course, Forever and always." he smiles and kisses me again. "i promise that we will always be together, no matter what."
