Sitting still on her bed, tears threatened to trickle down her cheek as she stared at the bleak wall in front of her. She relentlessly rubbed at her eyes and looked up at the ceiling in attempts to stop the tears from pouring.
'I should have closed the damn gate when I had the chance,' She slouched over, her face buried in her hands as a whimper escaped her.
She had lost a dear friend, the first friend she made since waking up. The blonde remembered how she would force him to buy her food from the Friar cafeteria. As well as the time he had given her the grand tour of the mobile fortress.
As memories began to rush, her tears uncontrollably poured out.
"Ciel!" She shouted for the other God Eater who had been tinkering with the controls of the God Arc Soldier. She shoved the non functioning tablet into her hands hurriedly before running to grab the raincoat that had been hidden in case of emergencies.
Ciel's eyes widened while watching the Vice Captain put the coat on, "Are you going to follow them?" She asked, worry lacing her words as Brynn only nodded in response.
Brynn had already made sure that all the evacuees were inside the satellite base and protected from the rain. If she wanted to catch up with Romeo and Julius, she had to run after them now. The blonde searched the vicinity for her God Arc and found it resting against one of the walls beside the supplies.
She grabbed it, she was thankful that she decided to go with her lightest sword as she knew that it wouldn't be weighing her down as much.
"Vice Captain, don't you think it would be optimal for you to stay behi-"
"I'm leaving you in charge, Ciel." Brynn sternly cut her off, "The two didn't bring their God Arcs, imagine if they run into something." She added, the other girl had been silenced.
Without any qualms, Ciel merely bowed her head, "Please take care, Brynn."

The rain poured heavily on her as she ran as fast as her legs could take her. Her eyepiece had shown her the location of her two companions, they weren't too far away from each other but she knew it would take her quite some time before she would reach them. She continued to run, her God Arc tensely being gripped by her right hand while she observed the two dots on her eyepiece.
A large blinking red dot appeared on the map.
"This doesn't look good." She whispered to herself and attempted to run even faster. She was close, she just had to push herself a bit more.
A loud roar echoed throughout the field. The strength of it had nearly pushed her back, but she continued to run.
In the distance, she saw two silhouettes facing a gigantic Aragami on four. It looked familiar to her, the closer she was, the more she could decipher what it was.
"Hey, ugly!" She screamed, she had been behind the Aragami. A shiver escaped her when it turned instantly.
She saw the scar and he saw her. She swallowed the lump in her throat knowing that the wolf-like aragami had been aggravated upon seeing her. A menacing red aura began to radiate it as it roared once again.
'Looks like this thing holds grudges.'
"Brynn!" She looked past the Aragami and saw the Captain, an angered look was placed on his face. "What are you doing here?" He demanded.
Brynn didn't have enough time to answer his demands, the Aragami pounced at her briskly and she attempted to dodge its claws. She pivoted herself to face it and slashed at one of muscled legs, oracle cells beginning to burst out from it.
