Hi i'm not dead sorry for the long wait hope you like the next chapters. My parents found out i'm Bi and term is ending and i have to have all B+'s to do anything fun. So that happend to but i got a really good friend like just barely so yay! Merry Christmas guys! Stay safe :D

Chapter 3

        I have been on my own for 3 years I don't know how I survived. One day I saw a Sword in the ground and it was like calling for me. When i picked it up a rush of power flew through me so now i have a sword yay! But i need to focus on the moment right now i'm running through the forest i have no idea where i am but the floor has a ton of roots i'm being chased by this monster that has spikes on it I hear something fly past me Shit! i think I really need to stop thinking, well thinking to myself, Thinking normally I should keep on doing I take a turn and i don't see anything behind me now Good i think i lost it.

       I hear a voice behind me "hello demigod" it says No! i start running again but i trip on one of those stupid roots! i fall flat on my face ow that hurts i think I struggle to get up. Ahh the monster purrs the master will reward me greatly for capturing you young demigod "What the fudge is that?" I think. i'm not letting you get me that easily! I try to say bravely but even to me it sounds weak. I hold out my sword in front of me I try to swing it but my arms feel like lead."Your to easy." I expected you to be harder to beat. One swing of its paw and i'm flat on the ground. I try to get up but i can't. Blackness covers my vision and i black out

      I wake up hanging by chains over a fire. Damnit! I think 3 years and i finally get caught? I hear a voice over in a corner that says "well you're finally awake." It's the monster that was chasing me the one that finally beat me. I try to move so i can see it better i hear some thing fling right by my face just missing it by a hair. "Now, now none of that" The voice purrs. In the other corner where the monster can't see i see the shadows gather and spit out a boy. As i look closer i recognize him I open my mouth about to shout "Nico!" 

        but he puts a finger on his mouth and shakes his head. The monster turns around "Ahh Nico" Nico turns deathly pale "Y-you're the manticore that came for me and my sister when i was ten." Yes it says now i have the honor of killing both of you the Master will be VERY pleased" As the manticore lunges toward Nico, Nico jumps and turns and stabs the Manticore in the heart and it turns to dust. Nico turns to me and cuts me down "thanks" I say.

        But as i turn to leave Nico grabs my arm "No you don't your coming with me to camp" Let go of me! I scream, As I struggle he has a surprisingly strong grip. No he says you need to come to camp to train. No! i am not coming with you! As i struggle more cracks open in the floor and scelicle hand grip the surface. Nico speaks something in another language. Surprisingly I understand it. "Go back to where you belong as the ghost king i command this". The hands disappear and the crack closes. And for the second time today Black spots dance in between my eyes and as i fall someone catches me.
