Rwby: Heaven's Wheel

Chapter 2: A New Age

No Pov:

Its midnight on the continent of anima, a figure in a red cloak is seen calmly walking toward a cliffside, off in the distance is a village being burned to the ground by the creatures of Grimm, the sound of distant screams and roars fill the night sky, the cloaked figure looks down at the village with a look of determined anger, the sudden screech of two Nevermore approaching the village draw's the figures attention, the figure turns around before unfolding a massive scythe from underneath her cloak before leaping into the air just as a third nevermore began its approach, stabbing her scythe into the creature's wing hitching a ride undenounced to the Grimm. 

As they approach several Grimm sense her presence, once over the village the girl pulls the trigger on her scythe cutting clean through the Nevermore's wing as she fell to the ground landing on a statue, she slowly rose from her landing, her hood falling from her head to reveal none other than Ruby rose, she stood with her eyes closed as the Grimm surrounded her, her eyes suddenly opened as she activated her semblance turning into burst of rose petals dashing toward a Beowolf at blinding speed before slicing the creature in half followed by several others.

A Beowolf stood atop a chapel throwing bricks at Ruby, she used her semblance splitting into three and reforming behind the creature finally shooting it head and launching herself toward a passing nevermore, she then used the nevermore as a spring board to launch herself back into the center of the village square, cracking the ground as she lands in a large plume of dust.

She stands up and surveys her surroundings but is then suddenly knocked into a building  by a black fist.

she stands up to see a beringel Grimm standing in her previous location, it beats on its chest and roars at its newfound prey in a show of strength before launching itself at Ruby.

Ruby jumps out over the beringel before rushing in from behind stabbing into its side, the beringel is unfazed by this much to rubies surprise as it grabbed her by the head and knocked her away.

She lands onto a nearby building and transforms her weapon into its rifle mode before firing upon the Grimm while running along the building.

The now annoyed beringel throw's a nearby beowolf at Ruby who cuts the Grimm in half allowing the beringel to jump onto the same roof as her.

The two go back and forth with each other before the beringel cracks the roof under Ruby causing it to cave in dropping her into a dark abyss.

The beringel leaps off the building and lands in the village square beating its chest victoriously, the creature then senses something coming from the chapel as rose petels seep out from the entrance, the beringel was about to act until it noticed a small insect landing on its nose.

The bug heavily resembled a firefly but with a large blue light emitting from it, the creature snorted to make the insect leave as it did it let out a small electric charge causing pain to the Grimm.

It roared in annoyance just as Ruby leapt from the chapel's stained glass window toward the creature, the beringel went to knock her out of the air but Ruby used her scythe to launch herself over its attack and in one swift motion swept the beringel off its feet and used her semblance to carry it into the air.

She then came down on the Grimm stabbing into its chest before finally putting a bullet in its head, Ruby took a moment to breath before checking her scroll seeing icons of Jaune, Nora, and Ren.

Jaune: Ruby! We saw smoke!

Ren: Heading your way!

Nora: Don't start without us!

Ruby lightly smiled at this and looked up from her scroll

Ruby: You'd better hurry

Ruby put her scroll away and readied herself for battle but before she could advance on the now approaching beowolves, they all stopped and stared in Ruby's direction.
