A Dark shadow is cast over Beacon academy, screams of students and civilians echoed throughout, only to be silenced and followed by terrifying roars as Grimm freely roamed the campus, and amongst this chaos is a confused and uneasy Yang Xiao long. She gazed at her surroundings with fear, "How am I here? what's going on?" She thought to herself. Her thoughts were cut short when out of the corner of her eye she spotted a figure walking toward her, she recognized this person all too well...Adam Taurus. the man who took her arm, without thinking Yang readied herself only to realize her right arm had returned along with its respective gauntlet, after gathering her courage she fired over and over at the approaching Adam, but every shot fazed right through him, running out of options she tried to shoot again but her gauntlets and right arm were gone once more. Yang stared at her hand and missing arm in disbelief before looking up in shock as Adam was now right in front of her, Adam gave Yang a sinister grin before unsheathing his sword but before he could end her life....Yang woke up.
She rose from her bed and gazed around the room, her eyes landing on the robotic arm the general had sent her , though her thoughts were interrupted by the faint sound of laughter, she threw on a jacket and made her way downstairs to the kitchen where the voices were coming from.
Port: And-And then in comes Qrow wearing a skirt!, I was just a T.A, I didn't know what to do, so I just left the room to laugh!
Tai: Yeah we told him it was a kilt, he'd never worn a uniform before so he didn't know.
Oobleck: Ha ha ha! That is terrible! what is wrong with you?!
Tai: Hey! the girls all said he had nice legs, I did that jerk a favor! besides that's not even the best part see, then we-
Tai was then interrupted by port putting his leg on the table.
Port: Like what you see?
The three of them burst into another fit of laughter, though port was unable to keep his balance and falls over which only fueled the laughter even more including Yang, which caught everyone's attention.
Port: Oh, Um, Miss Xiao long! please, join us.
Oobleck: Yes yes pull up a chair. Please pull up a chair.
Yang: I'm good thanks.
Yang walks over to her father and sits on the counter next to him.
Yang: So what are you doing here?
Oobleck: Despite popular belief, teachers do have a life outside the classroom.
Port: Professor Goodwitch is working round the clock to restore Beacon to its former glory. But Mistral wasn't built in a day, and we all need some rest from time to time.
Tai: Look, let's not worry about that right now. So, there we were standing in the auditorium, looking at Qrow, wearing a skirt! Then Oz tells everyone: "It's time to work on our landing strategy!"
Oobleck: The Brawnwen twins have always been . . . interesting, to say the least.
Port: That sure didn't seem to stop young Tai "chuckle".
Tai: Hey, c'mon man she's right here.
Port: Oh, please! She's a mature young women. If she can handle combat she can handle a few jabs at her old man.
Tai: That's not the issue Pete, and besides, she's still a teenager.
Yang: She is also in the room and can be directly spoken too. And "I" think I've been through enough to be considered an adult at this point.
