Chapter 4:Monsters?

(Atlas, Schnee family estate.)

Weiss Schnee is seen walking through the halls of her family home in atlas, she has a look of melancholy as if she doesn't feel at home despite growing up in atlas, she passes multiple rooms on her way to her own but is stopped by a familiar voice.

Whitley: Good afternoon, sister. A pleasure to see you out of your room for a change.

Weiss: Hello Whitley, you're in a cheery mood today.

Whitley: Klein made crepes for breakfast.

Weiss: What do you want?

Whitley: I heard father shouting with someone in his study earlier.

Weiss: Mother?

Whitley: No, she's already drinking in the garden. I think I was a man. I just wanted to warn you, I heard he had asked to speak with you.

Weiss: I'll be fine.

Whitley: I know you will, you're strong like winter.

Weiss: You never liked Winter.

Whitley: True, but you can't deny her resolve.

Weiss: You. . . seem different.

Whitley: and you've been gone, I'll have you know I didn't stop growing while you were away at beacon. Anyway, good luck with Father.

With that Whitley turned and walked off.

Weiss: . . . . Thank you.

(Team RNJR)

Team RNJR is seen sleeping in a forest clearing, Ruby's eyes suddenly shoot open as she awoke from her nightmare, she lifts head and scans the area only to see her team still asleep. She then perks up at the smell of what could only be described as fresh tea, she stands up and begins to follow the smell through the forest coming to a small tent just big enough for two people. Upon stepping inside she spy's Lancaster sitting at a small wood table sipping tea and writing in a journal, His ears twitch at the sound of Ruby entering the tent.

Lancaster: Ahh, Mrs. Rose, please sit.

Ruby: (Yawns) Good morning Mr. Lancaster, if you don't mind can I have some tea?

Lancaster: Of course you may, nothing makes my day more then a good pot of fresh tea.

Ruby seated herself next to him and poured herself a cup of tea, upon tasting it she felt something. Like her muscles tensed and hardened.

Ruby: Woah!

Lancaster: Is something the matter? Tea not to your liking?

Ruby: No the tea is great actually its just- I felt something just now.

Lancaster: let me guess, like your body somehow toughened itself up?

Ruby: Yeah, how'd you know?

Lancaster: because I use these in my tea, I feel that they add to its flavor.

The Wyverian then put a small orange seed onto the table in front of Ruby.

Ruby: What's this?

Lancaster: That my dear is known as an Adamant seed, they grow in most area's but up here they are quite uncommon, upon consumption it will boost you're bodies natural defenses.

Ruby: Wow, you really know your stuff huh?

Lancaster: Indeed, Now I believe there is something you wish to get off of your chest?
