THE next morning, Hermione had walked up to her at the Ravenclaw lunch table to inform the Parkinson girl that there would be a meeting this afternoon at the Hog's Head about discussing a way to learn Defense Against the Dark Arts out of class since Umbridge wasn't exactly teaching them anything. She of course agreed, signing her name to the list of people who will be there, along with Cho and a few other Ravenclaws near her.

Hermione left with a little hop of joy, moving on to the Hufflepuff table for more signatures and Malina turned back to the table, taking a drink of her pumpkin juice, and opened the note she got this morning from her mother.

Dear Malina,

How have you been? Have you found a special someone yet? And are you still managing to stay safe during full moon nights? I've heard one is coming up soon, please do be careful. I really do hope all is going well. Your father's views are still the same but I accept you always. Please do write back if you can. I miss you very much, my sweet child.

Love, Mom

Malina smiled. Her mother would occasionally write to her although she never gets to writing back. She knows she should but she never does. She loves her mother yet she almost wishes that she would stand up to her father for the both of them. Although Alaric Parkinson was not the type of person you would want to upset.

"Is it true that you and Harry are like, a thing?" Someone sitting across from Malina asked, snapping her back into reality. It was Marietta Edgecombe, one of Cho Chang's friends. "Is it?"

"Sorry, what did you say?" The Parkinson girl really didn't know what Marietta had asked. She hadn't paid any attention the first time.

"You and Harry. Are you dating?" She asked once more. Cho sat beside her, listening for an answer.

"No, we're not" Malina chuckled.

"But you like him, don't you?" Cho joined in.

Malina hesitated. She wasn't sure if she liked the raven-haired boy or not. The more she thought of it, the more unsure she was.

"Come on guys, that's none of your business." Bailey Bennett said to them. Bailey was sitting next to Malina on her left and if you've forgotten about who this witch is, Malina would tell you that she's one of the few Ravenclaw girls that she actually likes - along with Luna Lovegood of course.
