THE sun began to rise and Harry was no longer cuddling with the wolf, but instead, the young girl who was under the blanket that he had given her last night. The other two were passed out beside each other.
Malina looked around the room, the three Gryffindors still sleeping. She sighed at the thought of how much she would have to explain once they woke up, knowing that there was no point in getting ready for her classes today.
Harry's eyes slowly opened at the sound of movement. Once all of the memories from last night flooded back, he sat up and looked around, landing his eyes on Malina who was holding onto the blanket for coverage. He then got up and searched her bag for the clothes she had packed in advance.
"Thank you," She told him, as he handed her the clothes.
"I'll just... wake them up and let you get dressed." He stuttered as he walked towards Ron and Hermione, shaking both of their arms which caused them to wake up and jolt back when they realized how close they had been lying beside each other. Ron's ears turning bright red. The three of them walked out of the room to let the werewolf get dressed.

"It was my third year. I was thirteen. I was about to go to sleep but then I started to hear screams outside. I was only trying to help." Malina sat there, staring into nothing as she told the golden trio her story.
"I still wasn't sure what was going on or what had attacked me until my first transition. I was out of control, I don't remember anything that had happened while I was a wolf. I just remember... I remember..." Her voice was shaky. It started to get harder for her to speak, tears stinging her cheeks.
"I found a body. A dead body. I- I had killed someone. I didn't know what to do, I was so scared..." Malina was now crying to the point that she couldn't say anything. Hermione was the first to go and comfort her. Harry and Ron then followed, rubbing her back and moving her hair out of her face.
"It's okay."
"We're here"
They stayed like that for a few moments until the Parkinson girl was ready to continue.
"I went to Dumbledore that day. He was so understanding. I mean even to this day... you see, my father, he kicked me out so now I stay at Hogwarts."
The three Gryffindors exchanged glances.
"Did you ever find out who did this to you?" Ron asked
"It had to have been Lupin... I mean it all makes sense now. Your third year? Lupin was here our third year." Hermione said
"You're very smart, Hermione. Yes, it was Lupin." She told them.
"Hold on, if you heard screaming then that must've been the night we had found out Remus was a werewolf. I'm sorry... if it wasn't for us, then this possibly wouldn't have happened" Harry apologized.
"It's not your fault" Malina looked at each of them. "No one is to blame. It happens. I'm okay now."
Harry continued to rub her back as he sat beside her. Hermione then decided to give them time alone, making up the excuse that she and Ron would go grab a few things to eat from the Great Hall for breakfast. Ron was confused at first but went along with it, following Hermione out of the room.
Malina chuckled and leaned her head onto Harry's shoulder. "Thank you"
"For what?" The boy asked.
"For listening, for accepting me, for taking care of me last night. There's so much to be thankful for."
"In that case, thank you. Thank you for sharing your story, for letting me take care of you, and for not pushing us away." Harry said, pulling her closer. "Little wolf"
"Little wolf?" The Parkinson girl asked.
"Yeah, it suits you well."
Malina chuckled. "I could get used to it"
After a while, Ron and Hermione came back with a few pieces of toast but forgot that it wouldn't be easy getting any beverages to them and so the four got up and prepared themselves to head to their school for food.

Tonight was the last DA meeting before the holidays and Malina was feeling good about it. Even though Umbridge and her squad were already trying to take them down, they had not yet had proof or a way to get into the Room of Requirement, therefore they couldn't punish them. Although some were being taken to her classroom for questioning.
After everything that has happened recently, Hermione had made sure to stick by Malina. As they entered the Room of Requirement, a few students had already started practicing.
"Hello everyone, I apologize for bailing yesterday. Something had come up but I'm sure you all did very well with practicing." Harry told them "So, show me how well each of you have progressed."
Malina watched as some of them took out their wands and casted spells. Ginny had been doing so good, it left everyone speechless. Cho was still pronouncing "Expelliarmus" wrong. And Neville was finally able to cast the disarm spell correctly which caused everyone to proudly cheer and gather around him.
"So, that's it for this lesson. Now we're not going to be meeting again until after the holidays. So just keep practicing on your own as best as you can and well done, everyone, great work!" Harry announced.
Everyone clapped and said goodbye to their fellow students. Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Malina glanced at each other, grinning.
As they were leaving, Malina noticed that Harry was nowhere near. She assumed he must have stayed in the Room of Requirement, but why?
"Excuse me," The Parkinson girl, turned around and headed back for the Room of Requirement but the door was now gone. She didn't need the room, she was only looking for Harry. Therefore she wasn't able to enter.
Malina just sighed and headed for the Ravenclaw common room. Maybe she could ask him about it tomorrow.
