Chapter 12: Cute

I opened my eyes and saw a familiar ceiling.

My room's ceiling.

"Shit! How did I get here?"

I touched my head trying to fight a terrible head ache. Who brought me here? The last thing I remember was kuya arriving home. He was talking to Felix.

"Gosh! I'm never gonna drink again." I whispered to myself.

I stood up but I almost fell. It was a good thing I was able to hold on to my side table for support. I was still wearing the clothes I wore yesterday so I took a shower and changed into something comfortable.

The second I opened the door, I smelled eggs. I didn't know kuya was here. Usually, he will still be in the hospital. I went down the stairs trying to keep my balance but I failed. I fell down the stairs on the last two steps.

"Aray!"

I held my head and stood up. I heard someone rushing to me.

"Okay ka lang?"

"Oo kuya masa-"

I looked at the person with questioning eyes.

"Bakit ka andito?"

I said while crossing my arms.

"H-ha?"

I looked at him with questioning eyes.

"Margaux,dito ako natulog. Timang ka ba?"
He said while laughing at me.

Umayos ako ng tayo at pumunta na lang sa kusina. He prepared enough food for the both of us which was sweet. Tocino at eggs ang ulam. He also sat in front of me.

"Masakit ba nung nahulog ka?"

He said with a teasing smile? It obviously made me confused. I fell down the stairs!

"Ikaw kaya ihulog ko! Matutuwa ka ba? Masakit pa rin likod tumama pa kayo don." I said.

His smile faded and was replaces with a surprised expression.

"Seriously?" said while rasing a brow.
"What?"I asked.

"Okay fine. Do you remember anything last night? Do you even remember the reason why I stayed here?"

"No." I confidently said.

"Margaux, I stayed here for the reason that your older brother asked me to." He said while taking a sip of his coffee.

"Bakit daw?" I innocently said.

"There was an emergency in the hospital. He asked me to stay here since you were so drunk last night. Can't you remeber anything?"

"I can't remember what happened."

"Like anything? Something you said maybe?"

"Bakit ba? May sinabi ba ako na hindi ko dapat sabihin?"

"Something like that. After this, go change. Tuloy pa din tayo mamaya diba?"

"Of course!"

"At least you didn't forget that one."

After out breakfast nagpalit na nga ako tulad ng sinabi ko. I went downstairs surprised to see him all dressed up. He was wearing a white polo shirt and some jeans. He looked so handsome. Saan kaya galing?

"Nagpadala na ako kagabi ng isusuot ko sa driver."

He said like he actually was able to read my mind.
