It was a day like any other. You got up, brushed your teeth, got dressed and left for school. You were waiting for the bus when suddenly you felt like you were being watched. You looked around but you couldn’t see anyone. Maybe you were wrong. After waiting for a few minutes, the bus arrived and you quickly got on and sat by your best friend. The ride to school wasn’t anything special. You talked about your favorite movie, how much you hated math, complained how confusing history was and how you would both fail the test next Friday. When the bus reached its destination every student got off and headed straight for class. You were surprised that the feeling was back and now you really felt as if someone was watching you. Again, you looked around but the only people you could see were the other students. And they didn’t normally look at you. You weren’t anything special. This fact made you happy since you didn’t really like being in the center of attention.

Your thoughts were interrupted by the bell and you headed to your classroom. The day was just as boring as any other. You had chemistry now. Perfect. Could this go any worse? The answer is yes. That feeling of being watched was back. And if you weren’t paying attention in the beginning of the class, now you were completely ignoring your teacher. Not that anyone was really listening to her. Chemistry really wasn’t that special to anyone. You stared out the window, trying to see who your “stalker” was but you still had no clue. Again, your thoughts were interrupted by the bell. You were the first student to leave the classroom. As usual. As the day went by the feeling got worse and worse. And your ride home was the worst part of the whole day. You did your best to ignore it and just go home.

The bus finally arrived and you quickly ran home. You couldn’t stand it anymore. When you reached the front door of your house, you noticed it was wide open. What was going on? You entered the house only to find it turned upside down. Books and clothes were scattered everywhere, the lamp was broken and so were the dishes in the sink. But most important of all, your parents were nowhere to be seen.
