It was April 29 when my beloved mother died right after I was born. I never saw her face, she had
breast cancer and died after a long fight.
Why is it so unfair? Why my mother? I was so mad. I only had my father, Jack Jennings and my
twin sister, Lisa Jennings, support me just as I support them. By the way, my name is
Lucy Jennings, and my sister is Lisa Jennings our mother gave us that name before she died.
That's why I always loved my name it's the last thing I have to honor her.
My dad is an
estate agent who is never home. He sells houses and stays at other places just to
make sure everything was going smoothly.
He gets $90 an hour and gets his payday once a week. I don't care about the money, I just want
him to spend more time with Lisa and I.
We live in a mansion in California. We moved here from Maine because my dad thought it would
be a great way to move on.
He Just can't stand staying at a place where my mother met him.
It's my first day of school. I am 14 years old and one second older than my sister.
My birthday is April 15, I have no friends so yeah I've had a few struggles in my life.
"Hey Lucy! Do you know where my phone is?, I can't find it" she said calmly.
"No I don't know where it is or which one it is since you have so many phones" I said clearly.
She left quietly mumbling something under her breath. My room is huge with navy blue blue
wallpaper with strips. My sister has a purple wallpaper with white flowers. Our beds are huge
and we have a walk in closet.
I never asked for all this stuff and never like being rich but I have to live
with it anyway right.
At Least I get to go to a normal school but the fact that I wear $200 outfits is a disadvantage of
going to public schools.
My sister Lucy loves getting clothes. She goes shopping everyday, I mean she
is a shopping freak. I've got to admit I love her for that.
Anyways it's my first day of school. I got out of a warm shower and opened my walk in closet.
I set out a pink crop top shirt a pair of blue jeans and pink Toms.
My sister Lisa is wearing a purple crop
top shirt with blue jeans and purple toms.
We always wear the same clothes, it's weird but it's
our way of saying we're always together. Like we are one. The only way I coped with not ever
having a mother is my sister. I know Its corny right, but to be honest its true.
