It was a fine peaceful morning. The birds are chirping, flowers are blooming, it was a warm yet peaceful day at the Hinata household.
January 8th 2005.
It was the little Tangerine's 6th year Birthday, at that day, she wore a nice red sleeveless dress with a silky bow on her waist. Her hair is tied into a cute messy bun with an orange ribbon. Also wearing a normal orange slipper her size.
"Okay honey, since today is your birthday, do you want to see papa?"
Her mother asked
"Wyay! Baba! I wanna thee baba"
She said in her childish accent
"Okay! Let's see baba from this magic tool!"
Her mother said, taking out her phone.
"Yaya baba!!"
The little one cheered in joy.
Her mother then dialed the head family. Then someone picked it up.
"Hey my little sunshine!"
Her dad waved at her and gave a big smile.
"Baba!!!"
The smaller looked and waved her hand in excitement.
"Hello honey, how was work?" Her mother asked.
"It was going fine ofc! I'll be home early today! So you better wait!! I'll bring a special cake for my daughter!"
"Yaay cake!! Baba bwing cake fow me biday!!" The tangerine said excitedly.
"Yes, pap will bring cake and we'll eat together! Mama is so exited!"
Her mom said cheerfully.
"Oh, dada has to go back to work honey, i'll call you soon, muah! Bye!"
His father hung up.
"Yay! Baba bwing cake! Baba bwing cake!"
"You're right Shaku, when papa goes home, make sure you give him a surprise hug okay?"
"Okay!!"
They were both so exited, they forgot that death is like a thief in the nighttime.
At night
"Mama"
The toddler said.
"Yes?"
She respond
"Where baba?"
"He's probably late again honey, don't worry"
Then her mother's phone ringed. Startling the older.
"Hm? Oh it's papa! Honey, papa is calling so be right back"
Her mother then walked to her room, leaving the smaller toddler.
After a long 7 minutes, the smaller heard a loud thump on the floor, she decided to see inside and saw her mother laying on the floor. The smaller shook her but she won't open her eyes. Fortunately, she's smart enough to dial and call for help, she dialed 110 and a man answered.
5 min later, someone came to the room and it was the ambulance, they picked up the mother and took her into the hospital. They say she had a heart attack.
Shaku then, was allowed to come in the room her mother is at. She sat beside her mother and asked
"What happen?"
Her mother didn't reply and just stared blankly.
"Mama..."
She doubted questioning
"Where's papa"
She finally said it.
"...listen here Shaku"
Her mother finally replied.
"We have to live without papa from now on...you have to be..."
She sobbed
"A responsible daughter..."
She continued while sobbing
She looked at her mother, confused of what she meant by that.
"Naze? Where baba? What happen?"
Her mom went silent, she took a deep breath while continued sobbing.
"Just be a...good daughter...."
"For me...kay?"
Her mom looked at her with a sad yet warm smile, tears flow from her eyes, making the smaller rubbed her cheeks.
"Why aw you cwiying mama?"
The mother took a really deep breath and said
"Papa is..."
"?"
"Papa is.....gone forever..."
6 years later...
"Nee-shan.."
The tangerine's sister said
"Hai?"
"What was papa like?"
She asked
"Hm..oh! Papa was...a very nice and caring person..."
The bigger answered.
"Oh! What does he look like??"
The smaller asked curiously.
"Well, let me see if i have old albums about him.."
The bigger then search in the closet, she took out an old box, inside was an old album. She took it out and open the pages of his father, while showing it to her sister.
"Uwaah!! Papa look sho handsome!! I want a boyfriend that lookes like papa when i get older!"
The little one said.
"Mhm..."
"He sure is handsome..."
