Y/n pov

I was taking a nap until I heard a thunder.

Y/n: Oh it's gonna rain, great.*I thought*

I heard a crash sound and I decide to go see the other and what they were doing. I found them in the front door.

Y/n: Hi everyone.

Luz: Oh hi Y/n.

Y/n: What are you doing?

King: Eda is casting a protection spell in the house for the boiling rain.

Y/n: Boiling rain?

Luz: Yeah Eda told me about this a few moments ago, also told me that rainbows here turn you inside out.

Y/n: Oh okay... I will keep that in mind.

Hooty: Hoot! Well, hurry it up with that force field. That rain is getting closer to my precious stucco.

Eda: Yeah, yeah, I got it. *uses her staff to grab the light ball and stamps the staff down to the ground, which then creates a force field spread through the house and protect it*

Luz: Wow. Someday I'd like to be as cool as Eda the Owl Lady. Magical, sassy, surprisingly foxy for her age. Hey, why do they call you the Owl Lady, anyway?

Eda: 'Cause I'm so wise.

Hooty: 'Cause she coughs up rat bones.

King: I think it's 'cause she gets distracted by shiny objects.

Eda: No, I don't.

Then King takes out a pen. He clicks it, and the diamond on top it glows

Eda: *delightenly* It sparkles and shimmers. It shines and delights. I must have it for my nest... *jumps to the pen and catches it*

Y/n: You gotta be kidding me.

Luz: You have a nest? I want a nest! Nest party! *lifs Eda up*

Eda: *tiredly* Ugh. That force field really took it out of me.

King: Uh‐oh. Moving a little slow. Age finally catching up to ya? *screams as Eda hoods his head with the hat* Darkness!

Luz: *looks at Eda who enters the house* This is perfect. Since we'll be stuck in the house all night, Eda won't have any excuse not to teach us a spell. *enters the house*

Y/n: Hold your horses Luz, she looks really tired.

King: But don't you wanna finish our lesson? I was gonna let you scratch a demon's tummy. Me!

Luz: Oh, uh, sorry, Y/n, King. But... magic.

She rushed where Eda was.

Y/n: So lessons about what were you talking about?

King: About demons.

Y/n: Oh I see, do you mind if I take some?

King: Wait you want to learn?

Y/n: Yeah know a bit more about this world isn't unpleasant.

King was excited about me wanting to know about demons , so we enter and King start telling me about demons while Luz try to convince Eda to teach us a spell.

After a while, Luz make Eda teach us a spell.

Y/n: Hey King I will be right back I have to listen to this.

King: Okay but I was going to show you more demons that could eat you.

Y/n: I know buddy but look at Eda she is already tired this shouldn't take much.
