the last time i was in the hospital wing harry had a boneless arm, now i'm here with Hermione, ron is hurt and looks a little dead- but we know he'll be fine. While harry's hurt from yet another quidditch game. Hermione holds her necklace right in her hand staring out the window. i'm the only one who knows what she does with it, both boys are asleep so i slowly approach her, she turns around and i wrap my arms around her waist giving her a gentle hug.

we have been through a lot this year and i could tell she was holding in a cry i held her hands and i looked into her eyes. her eyes were glistening from the tears she had shoved down. "it's ok if you cry you know" i said, i knew she wouldn't cry, she thinks she's to strong for that. we stood in the middle of the room holding hands while she spun her necklace.

hiding behind the pumpkins in Hagrids backyard we watches BuckBeak struggle and squirm in his chains. i was the first to ride BuckBeak and i loved him like my own pet. i jumped up and almost knocked over the pumpkins but hermione grabbed my wrist to drag me down. "what?" i scream whispered "your going to get us killed y/n" i looked down, she knew i hated getting scolded by her. trying to lighten the mood she continued "but if i die atleast ill be with you"

i smiled and looked into her eyes, i knew that it was time  "i like you" i said it- "i know that it will ruin our friendship but at least you know" i stares past the pumpkins trying not to look at her, BuckBeak had stopped struggling almost like he understood what had happened. i stared into the distance and Hermione grabbed my hand forcing my face to face hers. "it's ok, but nows not the time" she kept her hand on mine and dragged me towards BuckBeak letting go we freed BuckBeak and ran

she kept my hand held tight for the rest of our adventure and as she spun her necklace again i grabbed her shoulder and pulled her in next to me. the last thing i saw was our reflection in the golden ring of the time turner.
