Let's Try This Again

Bella Reace POV:

After I left the school I went straight home. Once I get there I put my car in the garage. I walk in the house and start up the stairs. I am stopped by my mom. "Sweets, I need you to clean your room," she says with a small smile.

"Why?" I ask genuinely curious.

"We are having guests over. My old friend Janie," she says smiling. I just nod and walk up the rest of the stairs to my room. I turn on some music and start cleaning. I finnish in 20 minnutes, what I really like singing. . . and dancing. Now I'm just chilling on my bed watching netflix, The Vampire Diaries, as a matter of a fact. I hear the doorbell ring and go down stairs to answer the door but realize that mom got it first.

I walk into the kitchen and see my mom and two others. I was, honestly, a little shocked, I was only expecting one person. One of the people is a female, Janie, I assume. She is a medium height, seemingly fit, but not a twig either. The other is a male, I'd say 6', and is fit. Most likely in some kind of sport. He is around my age, and seems a little defensive. When they turn around I am completely shocked about who he is.

Blake POV:

After the race I went home kinda bummed. And apparently Jake and Clare are together. Anyway, once I'm home I run for my room avoiding my mom, not wanting to be bombarded with questions about my day. As I am laying in bed scrolling through my insta my mom walks in. "Get ready. We are going somewhere tonight," she says smiling.

"Where are we going?" I ask wanting to know. Since we haven't really gone anywhere since we moved.

"To one of my friend's houses," my mom said simply. I nod and get up and ready. I throw some clothes on and style my hair, since my helmet messed it up. Once I'm down stairs my mom and I leave.

When we get there I look around, this is a nicer part of town than my mom and I live in. We walk up to the door and I knock. Mom's friend opens the door and pulls mom into a bone crushing hug. We have introductions and go to the kitchen to get to know one another better. I look around the kitchen and lean on the counter zoning in and out of my mom's conversation. In that moment I hear something on the other side of the door, neither my mom or Hunny noticed though. I stand up straight and hear the door open. I turn around and see Bella Reace, I smile because now I know where the queen lives.

A/N

I finally have another chapter done. I have an eye surgery in 5 days so I don't know when I will be able to update this again. I know the chapters haven't been the longest but I'm trying. I am using this platform to start a career for myself. I want to be a writer when I am older, this is what I love doing. It calms me down, that is why I write on here.
