Bella Reace POV:
It is finally the last day of Junior year, well actually the last couple minutes of being called a "junior". The thought of not waking up and pretending to be someone I'm not excites me. I finally have the chance to be me. I have never had that here and that is kinda terrifying. I just hope nothing bad happens here like it did at home. I miss it there, but I could never go back.
Hearing the sound of the annoying hourly bell quickly snaps me out of my thoughts. I grab my sketchbook and all of my other crap and start walking to my locker for my bookbag and keys. As always I have my head down and I'm walking as fast as I possibly can. Luck was not on my side today, and a speedbump got in my way. Mumbling under my breath, I immediately dropped down to pick up everything that dropped. See, I'm the school's "nerd" so there are some things that I can and can't really do. I can't cuss or be very active, in like sports and stuff like that. So I just stay quiet and keep my head down.
Grunting, the giant mammoth walks away. "What a jerk," I think to myself. I finish grabbing my stuff and continue walking to my locker. When I get there Clare is waiting for me. She is smiling like a lunatic and staring into my soul. "I saw that," she says in her "devilish" voice. The look on her face started making me uneasy. It wasn't a look I was used to seeing often.
"Saw what?" I snap at her.
"You running into Blake," she, somehow, smiles even bigger. And I think she broke her chapped lip open. I think I started seeing devil horns popping out of her head at that point.
"The jerk ran into me. Not the other way around," I mumble with a glare. She just waves me off like a fly on her shoulder and smiles. I laugh a little and put my stuff in my leather bookbag. I grab my keys and twirl them. Clare's smile widens even more knowing what mischief was about to occur.
Racing with Blake and Jake has always been a tradition. It was what kept us sane from the thought of always hiding our identities. Clare brought her motorcycle to school, so they'll get the hint of her identity. Though I will never give any idea of who I am to them,
until the end of the race that is. I had my car modified a few weeks ago and have been dying to see how she drives now. I mean, how can I have a car like mine and not race it. Oh wait, my car is a 1967 chevy impala, decked out with the all black look and tinted windows. I have a motorcycle, and it is my baby too, but riding it to school would give too much away.
"Let's goo!" Clare wines, grabbing my hand and dragging me to the parking lot. I laugh and start running to my car. I get a few strange looks but ignore them. See I am known as the shy timid girl, that never acts out of character. But that goes along with being a nerd.
We get to our vehicles and head to the gate. We sit there for a few minutes and watch as the crowd starts to gather. The race has become a kind of tradition at this school, as I said before. When the boys pull up, Clare nods her head and the race begins.

Blake POV:
School is finally at a close. Finally, a couple months to myself without the stress of others. As to hold my reputation, I'm not paying attention to what the teacher is saying. You see, I am seen as the 'bad boy' of Memorial High. At least that's what everyone wants to think. I am actually very smart and enjoy hanging out with people.
When the bell rings I am the first to walk out the door. I just want to go home, I hate being here. The only one who knows me is Jake, god, that boy wouldn't leave my side if he had the choice. As I'm walking down the hallway I run into Bella Reace. She could be the queen of the school if she wanted to be, but she keeps to herself a lot. Everyone notices her, and they want her to be theirs, but she just keeps her head down.
I just grunt, roll my eyes and walk away smirking. When I get to my locker Jake is waiting for me, as always. He is smiling like an idiot, which is strange because he never smiles like that. I roll my eyes again. "What?" I ask pointedly.
"Nothing," he said simply.
"Then why are you smiling
like that?" I ask, starting to get annoyed with him.
"I saw what happened. Did you run into her on purpose?" He asked. To which I grunt again.
"Why would I run into her on purpose?" I question him. He just shakes his head and laughs. And again I grunt as I walk away from him. I would never run into anyone on purpose unless I wanted to start a fight. I have my helmet and keys, and as soon as I'm outside I see my bike. I smile at Jake, and he knows what is about to go down.
We are always excited for the last day of school because of the race. I know, it sounds strange but it's what we do here. The people we race have always driven cars, so we don't know who they are. But I have a feeling that they are people we know. With that thought I get on my bike and pull out to the gate.
A/N:
And another chapter. I hope you guys like this version. My brother and his girlfriend had their handsome baby boy today. I am so happy that my life is taking a turn for the better. I am having surgery to have my eyes fixed, I am in a very happy relationship, my nephew is here, and I am getting back to the things I love doing. So please if you like the story share it, if you don't then please just tell me. Because for once I am actually happy, please don't ruin that for me.
