Chapter 21

Ashanti Pov

I was standing over the toilet throwing up everything in my stomach. This been going on for a couple days now and at first I thought it was a stomach bug but then It hit me that the day i came back home from over Aaron's house we had sex but we were so caught up in the moment that we didn't use a condom. But I keep telling myself that I'm not pregnant I couldn't be i'm to young to be a mother and then i don't know what Aaron is going to think if he goin leave or stay and help me with this I'm so scared.

"Ashanti you ok" Markus said knocking on the door

"Yea I'm fine i'll be out in a min"

I cleaned myself up before leaving out of the bathroom

"What was taking you so long" he said

"I was throwing up I think I got a stomach bug from that Chinese food we had last night" I lied

"Oh ok you need anything" he asked

"Yea actually can you take me up to the drug store"

He nodded his head I put on my shoes and everything and we left out the house and up to the store the whole way there i was praying that when I got this pregnancy test that It would come back negative.

When we got to the store I got the pregnancy test and i got some stuff for a stomach bug. After I paid i put the test in my purse so Markus want start asking questions. I got back in the car and we headed back to the house.

When I got home I went in the bathroom and followed the directions it told me to wait for 5 min. I left out the bathroom and went in my room and laid down and scrolled through Instagram to past time, after awhile I heard the beep go off and went back In the bathroom. I closed my eyes and prayed that the test came back negative. I slowly opened my eyes and looked at the stick and I couldn't believe it said positive. I closed my eyes and looked again it didn't change.

I'm pregnant I can't believe I was that stupid to get pregnant my mama is probably looking down at me so disappointed shidd I'm disappointed in myself how could I be so fucking stupid. I was knocked out of my thoughts by my phone ringing I looked and it was Monae.

Monae😘😍- Ashanti get down to the hospital Now Jalen in labor!!!

I hung up the phone and put the test and stuff in the cabinet and got my keys and phone and ran out the house headed to the hospital.

Jalen Pov

I was standing in the kitchen fixing me something to eat when I felt water going down my leg.

"Umm babe" I said turning looking at Caleb

"Yea" he said looking up at me

"I think my water just broke" I said

"O shit" He said looking at the water

I went and got my shoes and stuff while he got the baby bag and other things I can't believe my baby is coming I can't wait to find out what I'm having.

Caleb came back and helped out the door to the car while we were on our way to the hospital Caleb called everybody and let them know. When we got to the hospital and got situated in my room my contractions started coming and when I had my first one I thought I was going to die the nurses asked me did I want the medicine but I didn't take it cause I decided to have a natural birth.

After all the pain and sweat I was finally holding my baby girl in my arms she looked just like Caleb he couldn't deny her if he wanted to. We decided on the name Jordan Jakarah ferguson she was beautiful.

"You did great babe" he said kissing my forehead

"We made a beautiful baby" I said looking down at her

"We sure did"

While we were having our little moment everybody walked through the door with balloons and stuff.

"Aww she is so beautiful" Monae said looking at her

"I know right we did good didn't we"

"Y'all sure did" she said

"Ashanti you want to hold her" I asked

She nodded her head and walked over to the bed I put Jordan in her arms and watched them.

"She's beautiful" she said

"Thanks you ok"

"Yea just not feeling to hot that's all" she said handing the baby back to me

"Well you can go back home and get some rest thanks for coming by"

"Your welcome ill call you later" she walking out the door

A little while after she left everybody else left so I could get me some rest cause I was tired.

Ashanti Pov

Seeing Jalen and Jordan and Caleb and there little family made me think maybe this pregnancy want be as bad as I thought. It just might bring me and Aaron closer.

When I got home I took me a shower and I got in the bed while i was in the bed i was thinking should i tell Aaron now or just wait. I think I'll wait until in the morning but for right now I'm going to get me some rest. I cuddled up to my pillow and went to sleep.
