Walking in the mall I didn't see Monea no where. "She ain't never on time" I said to Ashanti who was looking at her phone "Huh what you say" she said looking up at me " I said she ain't never on time" I said walking into forever 21. "Well you know how she is" she said looking at this blue blouse "yea" I said looking at my phone to see her calling

Me- we at the mall waiting on you

Monea💛💛💛- y'all not waiting on me cause I'm already here

Me- I told yo ugly ass to meet us by the entrance

Monea💛💛💛- well y'all was taking to long so I went to look around

Me- well meet us at the food court I said before hanging up

"she already here" I said picking up a black and white cardigan we went and paid for our stuff then headed to the food court. When we got there I saw Monea sitting at a table I nudged shanti pointing to where she was and we headed over

" Damn took y'all long enough had me over here looking all lonely and shit" she said

"bitch you is lonely" shanti said laughing

"whatever but what are we going to eat cause I'm starving she said, after 15 min of deciding what we wanted to eat we choose joy of Tokyo we went and got our food.

"so what is going on with you Ashanti" I asked her

"Ummm nothing really but when i got to my house Sunday my mama and this man was sitting on the couch she was looking good the house was looking good and there was food from what I could see she introduced us or whatever saying that he was her boyfriend and all this stuff and ummm long story short she took up for him after I said fuck him cause he said something smart to me and then the witch slapped me I called Markus and been at his house ever since" she said looking sad

"Damn" i said

"Umm yea i know right and what else I hear bout you and this dude Aaron and yea taliyah told me" Monea said with one eyebrow raised looking at shanti

"Oh girl i meet him at the party Friday we exchanged numbers but he never called or texted me. But this morning I came down to the kitchen and this fucker sitting on the couch" she said eating some of her food

"Oh so he know Markus" I said

"Yea he do and then Markus leaves saying he would be right back telling him its ok for him to stay he like ok that's cool, so long story short we get in this argument which lead to his lips on mine" she said smiling

"Y'ALL kissed" I asked

"How was it was he a good kisser was his lips soft tell me" Monea said getting excited

" Girl yes his lips were so soft I melted" she said smiling

"Oh snap my girl got her man" I said happy

" Hol up ain't nobody say all that after i got myself together I pushed him off cause It wasn't right i don't know him and he don't know me so we shouldn't had no business kissing each other" she correcting me

" Whatever I can tell that you liked it by the way you smiling stop being so scared give it a try and if It don't work out move on" I said looking at her she nodded her head and we continued to talk about random stuff. I tuned them out thinking about this news that i have to tell them I'm scared that they are going to judge me but there my friends they would be happy for me I know they will.

"Umm guys I have something to tell you" i said shifting in my seat they turned to look at me and immediately I got nervous

"what is it" Monea asked

"I'm Pregnant" I said bitting my nails I looked at them and they both had shocked look on there face I knew I should have kept it to myself I thought

"CONGRATS BOO how far along are you"Ashanti said smiling

"Umm two weeks but your not mad" I asked

"Why would I be mad that's a blessing" she said

"Thanks girl cause I was scared to tell y'all" I said looking at her then at Monea who had a sad look on her face

"Monea aren't you happy for me" I said looking at her

"Yea CONGRATS boo" she said with a smile on her face which I could tell was fake but I just left it alone.

Monea Pov

What jalen just told me was a shocker cause I never thought she would be the one to get pregnant I always thought it would be taliyah or candy that would get pregnant first not her. But I'm happy for her I know I didn't really seem like it but I Am. The news hit home for me cause last year me and this dude named Brian was together we had been a couple since 9th grade he was the love of my life. The night he took my virginity was the night i got pregnant I didn't tell my friends because before I even got to I had a miscarriage that broke my heart the only people that knew about the miscarriage was Brian and his parents and mine I was depressed for months I didn't talk to nobody, I didn't eat, I didn't go to school I was a mess Brian came and checked on me everyday he always said that "God will bless us with a child when the time is right and right now just wasn't our time" he always knew what to say to make me feel better he was my back bone. But then he moved away it felt like I had nothing left. he still checks on me from time to time and I'm grateful for that.

Ashanti Pov

I'm so excited for jalen she is going to be a great mom and I know Caleb is going to be a wonderful dad. I can't wait until she finds out what she is having so I can start spoiling her/he with so many gifts. When we left the mall we headed back to jalen house.

"Girl I am so tired" Monea said

"well take yo ass to sleep" jalen said and that's exactly what we did.

I know it might be short but I promise to do better.
