Amaria's Pov
Recap{I walk around, my eyes scanning the crowd for him. No luck for me tonight either huh. Just another dead end. I sit down in a booth away from the madness, drowning in my sorrows. A voice interrupts my thoughts
"What is a lovely lady like yourself doing in a place like this all alone at night?". I look up to see the owner of the voice.} End of Recap
I looked up to see him. The person I have been tracking for months. The reason I have kept moving. He was the only sliver of hope I have left for a better life.
"Awed" he states looking bored. "Well you shouldn't be too surprised, I keep an eye out for the ones who seek my company".
"You're actually h-here" I manage to stutter out. After all that tracking and hard work, he knew I was looking for him and he never tried to contact me! What a prick.
"Now, now my dear you better keep your cool we wouldn't want those savages seeing a woman alone here". I try to rein my anger in. "So I assume you would like something from me? I mean they always do" he says with a bored expression on his face.
"Well I heard you can open up a portal between dimensions?" I ask nervously.
The man sitting in front of me smiled a knowing smile. "Well I have been said to do many things, but that little lady is a first".
"Well can you travel across dimensions or not?". My patience was growing very thin.
"Well of course little lady, I am called the almighty wizard for a reason" he huffs.
Overjoyed by the good news I ask "So when are you going to open this portal?".
"Not so fast little lady, everything comes with a price. After then we'll discuss that portal of yours to?".
"The mortal realm." I exclaim. "Name your price" I say smugly. There is nothing in the world that could stop me from finding peace. I was prepared to pay any price.
"Here are my conditions little lady".
