The bell rang and Blossom Lynn and I headed for lunch. I looked around for Kaiden, but didn’t see him.

I turned around, about to walk into the cafeteria when I bumped into someone. It was him! The one person I desperately wanted to see. Kaiden.

His apple fell to the floor and my hand went straight over my mouth.

“I’m so sorry!” I told him, blushing.

He smiled, “It’s alright.”

We continued walking to the lunch line and he followed, probably just to get another apple.

He had given me another note in line, saying that I should come to the party early. It said around five-thirty.

Lunch was cut short, so we headed to English, then Math, and then two hours, we were heading home.

I was so happy when 5 o’clock came! I was wearing a short, red sundress. It wasn’t fancy or anything. Blossom Lynn was still with me wearing her normal party clothes.

We arrived at Kaiden’s house. It seemed like no one was home. I softly knocked on the door and no one answered. Blossom Lynn banged on the door as hard as she could instead. There was a voice.

“Come in.”

We walked inside and saw no one. Blossom Lynn started walking upstairs, pulling me along with her. She opened an unlocked door and Kaiden was standing there, in just shorts. No shirt.

I stared up at his body and started getting hot. Our eyes locked once again. I couldn’t help but smile.

He walked quickly into the bathroom to put on another shirt.

Blossom Lynn was giggling behind me. His shirtless body replayed in my mind. He was nothing short of perfection. Why did he invite me so early? I didn’t understand it. Was I falling for him?

I heard music playing. Kaiden came back in a blue shirt and his hair combed the way I first saw it. He was absolutely adorable. I shook my head and smiled when he started humming the song. He apologized for taking so long, then asked us if we would each like a drink. I said no and surprisingly, Blossom Lynn said no as well. Probably because she brought her own vodka. We talked a lot after that, mostly about him and how he is adapting around here.

Soon, the house was full of people. Blossom Lynn and I ate a few pieces of pizza.

Suddenly, a slow song came on and Kaiden reached his hand out to me, asking me to dance.

I took his hand, as he leaded me to the dancefloor. His hands were soon around my waist and mine around his neck, resting on his shoulders. I tried my best to avoid his eyes, but couldn’t. His ice blue eyes were beautiful. He was…basically irresistible.

The song ended and I silently sighed, wishing it wouldn’t have ended. I still can’t believe we actually danced!

“I want to show you something.” He told me.

I immediately asked, “What is it?”

“It’s a surprise, Kaylyn.” That was the first time he had ever called me by my name. It seemed perfect. The way he said it.

We walked outside in the grass. He took my hands in his and I felt hot again. I looked up at him, confused.

“You’re going to think I’m crazy for this.” He told me.

I started to reply, but he suddenly grabbed my waist and pulled me towards him, kissing me. My heart busted and let my emotions flow. I kissed him back quickly, showing him how I felt.
