Chapter 1- Meeting F.R.I.D.A.Y. and Bruce Banner

Hi guys :) first chapter!! I'm sorry it's not that great- I promise the other chapters will be more exciting. Unfortunately I do need to have the characters get to know each other so the first one or two chapters might just be intro interactions. I'm not super proud of this chapter tbh so im really sorry guys ahah. But I tried the best I could and I hope you enjoy it anyways. 

Also the header photo is a photo of the med bay, so that's what it looks like :P But instead of the thing Clint's lying on it's just a regular hospital bed.

Back in the med bay, the child (well more like teen) in question sighed softly in their sleep. They rolled over a little, the movement unnoticed by all except F.R.I.D.A.Y. 

But F.R.I.D.A.Y. stayed quiet. She knew she was supposed to inform Sir when the mysterious human showed any signs of stirring, but they looked so peaceful.... And she knew for a fact that if she did Inform Sir, he would come rushing in to attempt to wake them immediately. She didn't want that. She wanted the human to rest. So, she stayed quiet for the time being.

But the teen was starting to wake up, gaining consciousness slowly. They groaned a little, their hands coming up to hold their head. "ow...." They mumbled. They blinked their eyes a few times, looking around, confused and dazed. They didn't recognize this place. But they were too tired to freak out. Instead, they laid their head back down against the pillow, and closed their eyes again. 

"Good Evening." F.R.I.D.A.Y. chimed, deciding now was the best time to speak. The teen jolted up in surprise, the fright waking them up. "W-who's there?" they asked, looking around nervously. "My name is F.R.I.D.A.Y. I am an A.I. system designed by Tony Stark." F.R.I.D.A.Y. informed them.

They frowned. "Tony.... Stark? Like.... /the/ Tony Stark? As in, super rich, super smart, billionaire Tony Stark?" they asked.

F.R.I.D.A.Y. laughed. Or at least as close to a laugh as she could get. Some L.E.D lights against the wall flickered to mimic what would be her laugh. "Yes, the one and only. But Doctor Banner was the one to find you. In a park, not too far from here. Do you recall this?" she asked.

They shook their head almost immediately, not even taking time to think. "no... no I fell asleep in my room last night and.... And I woke up here and that's all I know." They said, brows furrowed as they gripped the sheets anxiously. 

"b-but my head hurts a little..... and... you said I was in a park? Why would I be in a park, I don't live near any parks...." They bit their lip as they thought hard for a few minutes. "why am I here? You said Doctor Bruce found me? Like.... Like gamma radiation science dude, Doctor Banner?" they asked, there breathing starting to speed up a little.

"Please calm down." F.R.I.D.A.Y. said in a calm tone. "You seem to be panicking. Everything Is alright, I promise." She said, trying to soothe them and help calm them.

It was true, they were panicking. They were gripping the sheets harder now, breath hitching as they struggled to breath. "S-sorry-" they said. "I'm just really confused and scared and I don't know what to think?" they explained. 

They weren't sure whether this mysterious voice was telling the truth or lying.... Had they been kidnapped? Was this some freaky lab they used to experiment on people? The room they were in looked like a hospital room....  The medical equipment and glass walls covered with x-ray photos didn't help with calming them down.

F.R.I.D.A.Y. wasn't sure how else she could help, so she decided to inform Doctor Banner and Sir that the teen had woken up. Doctor Banner had been the first to arrive, rushing there to arrive before Tony, which he had. 

He immediately recognized the signs of the mild panic attack they seemed to be having. "Hey.... Deep breaths ok? Your ok...." He assured, standing beside them and putting a reassuring hand on their back.

The presence of another person did not seem to be helping much either. "W-who are you? W-where am I?" They asked, looking up at Bruce. Their eyes widened upon recognizing him. "Oh my gosh- your hecking Bruce Banner-"

Bruce smiled a little. "yup that's me. I need you to take a deep breath for me, ok?" he said, taking a deep breath as a demonstration. "Like this."

They copied him, taking in a deep, shaky breath and letting it out. They did this a few more times, with Bruce helping them, and soon calmed down. "T-thank you..." they said, cheeks tinted red. They were more than a little embarrassed about having a panic attack in front of Doctor Bruce Banner.

"It's no problem. I'm glad your ok.... We'll explain everything, don't worry. I'm sure you may be feeling a bit dazed right now, so we'll wait a bit before answering and asking questions. I'd also like to check you for a concussion. You hit the ground pretty hard." He said, walking over to the medical table in the room. 

They hesitated, but nodded. "ok...." They were still confused about everything, but Doctor Banner had said he would explain, so they guessed they would just have to be patient for now. 

Bruce stopped what he was doing, putting down some equipment he had pulled out as he turned back around. "I'm so sorry... how rude of me, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Bruce. Bruce Banner. But I believe you already knew that." He said with a grin.

They nodded, still in shock that they were with Doctor Bruce Banner. "Yea.... I did..... o-oh I should probably introduce myself too..." they said. 

Hehe you don't get to know the name till the next chapter >:) I have a name idea, but I'm open to suggestions! Mayhaps some people could comment name suggestions? Anyhoo I hope you enjoyed the first chapter. I apoligize again its not that great, and a little shorter than I thought it would be. But thank you for reading! :D

Note: Also timeline for this fic, non existent im sorry- well F.R.I.D.A.Y. is in it instead of Jarvis so that gives a general idea of the timeline. I'll try to figure out a timeline and explain it in the next authors note.
