Chapter 9

Cassie's POV:

I woke up early in the morning due to the alarm and washed my face. I decided to wear sweatpants and a sweater. I didn't like to show off any of my skin to people so I never wear a bathing suit. I then tied my hair in a messy bun and walked to school. I made my way to the locker and still no Kara. I took out my English books since I had it for the first class and made my way to Mr. Johnson's class.

As usual I came early so I made my way to the back of the class. I then noticed a guy I have never seen sitting at the corner of the classroom.

He had blue dark eyes and dark hair he was the cutest thing ever.  I walked to my table and the room was filled with silence. "Hey uhm what's your name?" Cassie I see you are new to this school what's yours. "I'm Ethan, do you want to maybe hang out sometime?" He scratched the back of his neck and I could see he was nervous.

Sure why not. We exchanged numbers and he made his way to my table. We looked at each other for a moment and he smiled "You're beautiful by the way."

I then blushed and started fiddling with my bracelet. The class started filling up and people kept staring at me and Ethan. Cindy then made her way towards us."Look at what we got here miss ugly has found a boyfriend." Cindy please I don't want to fight with you today. "So you would rather fight with me tomorrow."

"Hey you heard her leave her alone!" Ethan defended me. "This is not over Dassie.

I turned to Ethan and thanked him for standing up for me I really appreciated it. "Anything for a beautiful lady." Ethan smirked and Travis entered with his crew. He just glared at me and took his seat.

Ethan turned to Travis and just grinned. I could feel the tension between them and wondered if they knew each other.

*Lunch time*

It was finally lunch and Ethan kept me company throughout. "How about we hang at my place?" That sounds good you can also come with me after school. Ethan was being so kind and I really did appreciate it. We were laughing and Travis kept staring at us as if he was jealous.

Ethan was hot but not a hot as Travis. Lunch time was over so we went to our next classes until after school. Ethan came to my locker to fetch me and we made our way to his scooter. Uhmm Ethan are you sure u won't fall? Don't worry all you have to do is hold on tight. I wrapped my arms around him and we were off. I then saw a glimpse of Travis and Cindy eating off of each others faces which was disturbing.

But I felt somewhat disappointed what was I expecting for him to stop his player ways. Well you are wrong Cassie Brucks you were wrong.
