Loving the Bad Boy

Chapter 11

Travis's POV:

I woke up to the most beautiful face I have ever seen. It was 09:00 and I had to cancel the party due to personal reasons. I stood up making sure I didn't wake Cassie up and made breakfast. She started shuffling and opened her eyes slowly as I entered the room.

Morning princess. I said sitting next to her, I made breakfast for so come on before the food gets cold. " Morning why are you still here you know you don't have to protect me." She said as she walked towards the bathroom.

I wouldn't leave knowing you would be alone, what that douche came and did something bad. " His name is Ethan and his not that bad." I shrugged and made my way down the steps.

It was a simple but elegant house and I took the time to look at the family photos that were hung up on the walls.

They all looked happy which brought back memories of when my family was like that before my little sister McKenzie died due to a car accident.

My father ended up closing up and focused more on his work after my sister's death. My mom always tries to spend as much time with me but it would always end up in fights.

I remember a few weeks after my sister died I was miserable. My mom would just all of a sudden get angry and call me names saying I should have been the one that was in that car accident cause I'm as good as nothing.

This lead to me being a bad boy, I knew if I built up those walls no one could hurt me with their words so I do it first.

I felt a hand on my shoulder." What's wrong is everything okay?" Cassie asked with her beautiful eyes filled with worry.

Just memories was all I said. I then left not wanting to be asked anymore questions.

Cassie's POV:

I saw Travis look at my family's photos with an expression that told me something was wrong. He then left after I asked him a question.

Why was he so sad all of a sudden. I could see in his eyes that there is a lot of sorrow behind his bad boy image. Something told me that, the sparkle in his eyes had gone and tears almost escaping from his eyes.

The rest of the day was normal. I had a movie marathon and invited Kara to come over since it was the weekend. "So what did I miss?" She asked wanting every single detail.

Well Travis and I kinda kissed." What and you didn't call me!" She said with a look of excitement in her eyes." Was it good, like how did it feel?" She asked as if she was a young girl curious to what hold in the teenage life.

Shut up, I blushed and faced the other way hoping she wouldn't see me." Ulalala! She said while wiggling her eyebrows which kinda crept me out. We started laughing and then we told ourself that we were serious now.

"What actually happened?" Well you remember that there was a thunderstorm right. She nodded already understandingly. I was walking home since you were sick and he offered to give me a ride. I said no so he picked me up and dumped me into the car.

I carried on with the story and she looked like a child who was given candy." So do you like him?" Kara was a straight forward person.

I don't know he has been kind to me but I wander why he is doing all this for me. He already has a girlfriend who needs his attention but instead I get blamed for him not hanging out with her.

" You life is messed up girl, but do you think he likes you?" Before I was about to answer my phone rang and the ID caller was Travis.

Travis: hey sweetie hm can you come tutor me now cause apparently we have a test on Monday?

Wow he really doesn't pay attention in class he only found out now.

Me: See you in 10

Travis: see you then princess

Me: you should really stop with these pet names.

Travis: well then you will have to make me stop.

I could imagine the smirk on his face right now.

Me: why does everything have to be sexual with you?

Travis: it's how I roll sweetheart

Me: see ya

I ended the call to see Kara staring at me. What? " He calls you princess!" I rolled my eyes and I walked Kara back home which wasn't that far it was about 2 blocks away from my house.

I made my way to Travis's house which was the longest walk I have ever had. I knocked on the door to see a shirtless Travis.

He had everything from the broad shoulders, to his six pack down to a perfect V- line. " Are you gonna come in or are you just gonna stare?" Travis said with his smile that could make any innocent girl fall for him.

He closed the door behind me and lead me to his room. It had dark blue walls and a collection of DVD's on the side. There were 2 huge speakers next to a huge black TV. His bed had white covers with dark blue pillows.

Then there was a bathroom that had a bathtub and shower with an elegant basin finished with a mirror. He had dark blue lights which made the room dark and for me it was comfortable.

He made his way to his desk and we revised on the previous work from class. " My brain hurts can we take a break?!" Travis said while rubbing his forehead.

Travis this is you third break in 10 minutes you need to focus. "But I'm hungry." He said with the cutest pout ever. Okay but we will need to get back to studying.

He jumped up his seat and ordered pizza. After eating we finally finished up with studying and decided to watch a movie.

Travis got bored and started dancing to the movie Highschool Musical. I had never laughed so hard in my life. " Just say you are jealous of my moves sweet cheeks." Travis said now sitting next to me on his bedroom couch.

You looked like a chicken. I said still laughing my lungs out." I'm happy you are smiling." Travis said with a genuine smile. We looked at each other's eyes for a good 1 minute.

Suddenly the door was opened by someone I didn't expect would come. " What are you doing here? Travis are you really gonna down grade to that dog?" I sat there quite and closed my eyes trying to not let her words get to me.
