Chapter 10

Travis's POV:

I hate to say it but I was jealous. Seeing Cassie with another guy just made me angry. She was smiling but not because of me and that made me curious to what made her smile. I know I'm being selfish but I go around sleeping with almost every girl I want to sleep with.

This may be harsh but I'm doing it just for fun. It's not my fault that girls keep asking for more and more. I know I have to change but I still don't know what this feeling I'm feeling is that get every time I'm with her.

She was with this other guy named Ethan for almost the whole day and left if him on his bike. The named sounded familiar until it hit. Cindy was all over me but I couldn't keep my eyes off Cassie. They were too close for my liking. I know I should stop being selfish and jealous but I can't help but want to protect her.

" Yoo Travis come on man practice is about to start you know what happens if you are late!" Hunter shouted and I walked to him leaving Cindy behind but I could hear her following.

" Babe next time please try and kiss me back I can't look like a fool!" I rolled my eyes and cringed at her calling me babe. By the way you need to you know brush your teeth if you want me to kiss you back and you should get a little practice. I said when I reached Hunter. He started chuckling and we made our way to practice.

Honestly nothing could top up me and Cassie's kiss it was so magical and i could feel that it was meant to be.

Cassie's POV:

I held on tight onto Ethan as the wind blew through my hair. I couldn't smell his scent and let me just say he has a good taste in perfume. We stopped by a pond by the park and he took my hand leading me to it. It was beautiful and peaceful. He sat by a nearby bench and gestured for me to sit next to him.

I felt safe with him and felt that I could trust him. We sat in a comfortable silence until he broke it. "What do you think?" He said as he threw a rock into the pond. It's beautiful thank you for taking me. He gave me a genuine smile. I could feel his stare on me. Why are you always looking at me? I asked letting out a little chuckle and I could feel my cheeks heat up.

"Just admiring you. Do you have a boyfriend maybe?" He asked as he scratched the back of his neck. No, I replied bluntly. "Oh?" Was all he said and he stood up." Are you hungry?" He asked. Mhm yeah who can ever say no to food. He let out a laugh nodding his head and we headed towards his bike.

He took one of the helmets and put it gently over my head with a smile on his face. I blushed and hoped he wouldn't notice. We took off and stopped at McDonald's. We sat inside and had our lunch and to my surprise I actually enjoyed hanging out with Ethan.

He took me home and kissed my cheek and left. I checked my phone for messages and got 1 from Kara and 3 from Travis. I was surprised by Travis sending me messages.
I answered Kara's message first and was happy to hear that she was coming back to school after the weekend.

I opened Travis's messages and chuckled from what he had wrote.

Travis: Sweetheart I'd suggest you don't hang out with Ethan he is bad news.

What was he talking about Ethan was actually a nice person.

Travis: please answer me
Travis: I coming over in 10 minutes

What were his intentions and why did he car so much. I heard the door open and saw him storm I without me allowing him in. Please make yourself at home I said with a hint of sarcasm. "Sis I think it would be great if you....oh" my brother Daniel stopped and stared at the two of us. " Who is this, man if you hurt my sis I will break your penis!!" My brother said stepping up to Travis who had a rather chilled look on his face . I guess he was used to these kinds of situations. Relax bro he is just a guy from school he is not my boyfriend.

My brother became protective of me after what had happened in my previous relationship and that he knew how the passing of my grandma affected me. " Well I'm going out, have fun kids!" He said as he winked at me. Thanks dear brother for embarrassing me.

"Your brother is cool" Travis said plopping himself on the couch. What are you doing here anyway. " I'm here to protect you from that douche bag Ethan" Travis said while walking up to my room. Which I didn't invite him to enter.

Why are you so against him? I asked out of curiosity. " Just stay away from him, promise me." He said holding up his pinky finger with a child like accent. Which I must say was pretty cute I just wanted to squeesh his face with my hands.

I promise I said unsure of what he knew about Ethan. "Now care to make your guest some food." He said as he laid his head on my fluffy black pillow. I rolled my eyes and just sat on my bed. " Travis I would suggest you go home it to late for you to be here" I said clearly sounding sleepy.

" I think I should stay and protect you"he said. I heard shuffling and suddenly my bed dipped. What are you doing? I have said this sentence a lot these days. " Giving you extra protection and in return you will do me a favor. I was too tired to argue with and I ended up sleeping.

I then felt strong arms wrap around me when I tried to move them he wouldn't budge so I just left him and I ended up snuggling in his broad chest. I could feel his chest rise and fall as his heart beat strongly. I could feel the feel of his breathing from his nostrils which gave me chills.

"Goodnight sweetheart" he said with his raspy deep voice. Goodnight Tray.
