The boy walks past me grabs the last bag on the shelf and scribbles something underneath my name. Before I get a chance to read his name the man rushes us out, and fumbles through his keys to lock the door.
When we get outside I realized I dropped my map when I was rushed out the door. The boy must be able to tell what happened because he says "don't worry we can find our way together". He asks me where I'm going and I say "G12-15".
He responds "that's right next to where I am staying, B 12-15". When we start walking he finally realized I don't know his name. He introduces himself as Hunter Neal, but before I can introduce myself he says "I know who you are".
I must look a little creeped out because then he quickly adds "I'm not like a stalker or anything I just saw your name on the sheet we signed."
I just reply "Oh" not even ok just Oh.
The rest of the walk is way more awkward because now we know each other's names we feel obligated to talk and we have nothing to talk about. I ask him how he knew his way around so well. His response was "I got in this morning, and I found every possible way to get back to my dorm".
"Ah, so you are like an expert you have a whole 10 hours more experience than me" I say in a joking manor.
"Yep,I guess you could say I know everything about this place" Hunter says causing me to laugh my genuine laugh. Which is a horrible laugh. kind of like a combination of a hyena and a old man. Which make him laugh.
