[ FOREIGN FEELINGS ]

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

IT wasn't exaggerating to say that Kim Hana was ready to fall on the floor and wail, thrash arms around like a kid because she was frustrated.

But of course the cool pretty Hana, the icy second year won't do that, it would rupture her perfect impression towards the school.

The girl with slouched shoulders trodded towards her locker, eyes on the brink of falling out of their sockets, Hana was tired for sure. She was sick of the burning throat that never seemed to soothe no matter what she did. With little energy Hana opened her locker and grabbed her necessities before shutting it close, she changed the password since Donghyuck found out about her previous one.

Speaking of Donghyuck, Hana had no clue how she would face the nosy boy. She can't just normally treat a boy as if she hadn't just tried to strangle him to death the day before. But she was bound to see him since they unfortunately were in the same class.

Her tired body flinched when the loud voice of her best buddy rang in her ears. She turned around to see the boy that was limping towards her, noticing his clutche the girl decided to walk towards him rather than him traveling towards her. As soon as she came near him, Renjun wrapped his arms around her forgetting to hold his clutch that Hana ended up grabbing.

"I missed you!" Renjun cried out as he buried his face in her neck, Hana wasn't really that short. She bit her tongue to lessen her urge to suck his blood and mumbled, "I missed you too." To her relief he let go of her and stood up straight. "How is your leg?" Hana asked pointing at his ankle that was wrapped up in bandage.

"It's better though it still hurts so bad." He whined before leaning in to whisper, "Yerin pushed me I swear." Hana chuckled at his words, Renjun earned a smack on the back of his head making him roll his eyes. "I didn't push you, be grateful I was there to get you to infirmary." Yerin gave him a friendly glare before turning to Hana who was looking at their interaction, amused.

"Hey you look like you just showered in trash."

Renjun snorted at Yerin's remark as Hana scoffed and rolled her eyes, she was afraid they might get stuck at the back of her head considering how many times she does it in one day. "No shit." She snapped and sighed. "Is it because of hyuck?" Renjun asked as the trio made their way to their class.

"Half true." Hana answered, "I tried to strangle him yesterday." She spoke without any expression causing the others to laugh. "I am really not joking." Hana mumbled as she saw her friends not really believing her words. "Will you two stop laughing or I will bite ya'll." Hana snapped but the two continued to snicker.

"Oh my Ms. Kim is angry." Renjun poked Hana's cheek not realising that Hana wanted to break his finger. Hana clicked her tongue, stopping in front of her class, her eyes tracing the path of her friends who were now entering their own class.

She looked down at her feet and gulped, "Miss Kim it would be great if you join us." Mr. Choi called her, his words laced with sarcasm making her classmates to giggle but they soon stopped when Hana gave them her famous glare. "Of course." She muttered and went inside.

Her eyes unintentionally caught Donghyuck's figure that was staring back at her as if she was a culprit behind a big bank robbery. She ignored his stares and went to sit, she chose a seat further than him, Donghyuck felt a tug on his heart seeing her not sit where she usually sat.

He wanted to know what was wrong with her. Hana's suspicious behaviour made him curious, and Donghyuck being Donghyuck, he wouldn't let go of things until he finally gets an answer.

The day went by quickly as the bell rang and it was lunch break, the time Hana used to love before her tragedy but now she despised it. She hurriedly stood up and ran out of the class before Donghyuck could reach her making the boy ruffle his hair in annoyance. "She is ignoring me."

"You guys go without me!" Hana yelled to her friends who gave her confused look but abide to what she said. She silently pushed passed the crowd wanting to go sit in an empty school lawn, far from people.

But her wishes didn't come true and a hand grabbed her wrist pulling her back to a corridor. "What the fu-" Yangyang placed his hand on her mouth to shut her up and she didn't appreciate that in the slightest and forcefully yanked his cold hand away. "Perhaps I shall poke your eyes out." Hana grumbled. "I don't fancy that." Yangyang answered before he shook his head remembering why he actually stopped her.

He fumbled with his school's maroon blazer and fished out a juice packet, well it resembled one but the liquid wasn't really what a human would savour. "Here take this." He shoved the unknown packet towards her, Hana scrunched her face in disgust, pushing his hand away. "What is this? Ew."

"It's exactly what you think it is. Take it please." Yangyang pleaded, his innocent eyes made Hana lose her composure for a second. "Who did you kill to get it? I don't want to drink it okay!?" Yangyang shushed her in panic as he looked around before whispering. "I didn't kill anyone I know you won't drink it if I did. It's.... It's mine."

"What!?"

"Will you stop! Screaming!" Yangyang prevented her from slapping him while still looking around for anyone eavesdropping. "Look it's mine okay? Though you can't survive on a vampires blood but it's the least I can do. I also ended up drinking a vampires blood when I was turned-" Yangyang stopped abruptly muttering a 'shit'.  "I gotta go drink it or die." He quickly whispered before jogging away.

"Hey wait!" Hana called him out but he was already accompanied by his friends. "He was also converted?" Hana questioned to herself staring at the seemingly harmless strawberry juice packet. She gulped before poking the straw in it took a sip, worried that he lied and it is indeed a human's blood but to her surpise ut wasn't. Even if she had never tasted a human's blood, she knew it belonged to a vampire.

It didn't taste good.

Relief rushed through her veins as her thirst lessened for the first time in weeks. But she also dreaded thinking that she really can't live without blood. Silently she made her way back to the empty lawn she was originally going to failing to notice the presence of Donghyuck who clenched his fists.

"Why are they two meeting alone?" He mumbled his gaze strong as a steel never leaving the girl. A foreign feeling of hatred bubbled up in his chest as he remembered about his friend Yangyang.

"What are you hiding Kim Hana?"
