Jasmine's POV

Today is graduation day for grade 12

"omg I can't believe this is happening right now" i say

"I KNOW RIGHT,and we fly out to California tomorrow morning so it gets even better" . Replies Isabelle

We were all dressed in our gowns waiting for the ceremony to start. We saw our families in the audience we waved at them it took forever to find them in the crowd because there is like 4000 students with their families in the building . The ceremony began.

" Will all people with last names that start with A-F please go backstage."

Isabelle got up since her name started with a c.

"good luck" I told her

"thanks jas" she says as she gets up.

she started to walk backstage

"Claire Anderson ,Amy Adams".......

After like 20 names they called her up "Isabelle cooper"

she walked onto the stage she looked so happy, she grabbed the diploma and shook the principal's hand. She walked back to her seat. After another couple people they called the people who last names started with G-K since my name started with a K- I got up. After another 50 people they called my name

"Jasmine Knight"

I was so scared that I might trip and fall. If you didn't know I Have stage fright. I shook my principals hand and took my diploma I waved at my family in the audience they waved back I saw Isabelle jumping up and down and clapping her hands like a ratchet girl I laughed and made my way back to my seat. After the ceremony was over the principal slightly yelled into the mic

"I PRESENT YOU THE CLASS OF 2015!!!"

we a started cheering and we all threw our caps in the air. Me and Isabelle started to do the shmoney dance after we threw our hats. We laughed so hard. 5 hours later we were at our girls house for an after party most of the girls were drunk.

Isabelle we have to go, we need some sleep for tomorrow" I told her

"alrightyy leggo!" she replied to me.

Tbh I thought she was drunk too but she kept on denying it .On the way home she fell asleep in the car. When we arrived home I woke her up and we walked through the door then straight upstairs .She fell right back asleep. Before I went to bed I tweeted "just graduated feeling so proud" and another one "Can't wait for the trip tomorrow with my best friend" I locked my phone and pulled the covers over me. Since we had to leave early tomorrow morning she was sleeping over at my house and her family would come to say bye in the morning.I looked at Isabelle I'm so blessed to have an amazing friend I thought to myself. A smile crept on my face, and I fell asleep .
