Chapter 9

Jasmines POV

Isabelle and Myles are officially a couple, their really cute and I'm happy for them. I haven't talked to Kalin in a while. I don't know I was hoping that he would ask me to be his girlfriend, but I think he lost interest. I woke up late today, at around 2:50. I brushed my teeth, and my hair, and went downstairs Isabelle was on the couch eating pizza.

"Hey " I said to her, while grabbing an apple.

"Hey Jas" Isabelle said, and I sat next to her.

"Isabelle?"

"Yes?"

"I'm confused, why hasn't Kalin texted or called me since our date?"

"I dunno Jas, maybe he's really busy with something" she said.

"Oh... I'm just really worried."

"It's fine there's nothing to worry about, just give him time I'm sure he'll call or text you soon.. " she said trying to comfort me.

"Oh okay thanks, we'll I'm gunna go for walk" I said. I ran upstairs and chnaged into black jeans, and my pink hoodie that said "fruit snacks". I ran back downstairs.

"Bye I'll be back in like 10 minutes" i said putting on my shoes.

"Okay, I'll just sit here and eat pizza by myself" she said

"I'll be back i just need some fresh air, and we'll have a movie night just the two of us" I said

"Okay sounds good, byee"

I saw Myles Coming walking from his car with grocieries in his hands.

"Hey meelz"

"Hey Jasmine, and uh meelz? " he said confused

"yeah I'm calling you that from now on" i said

"Haha okaay"

"so where you headed" he asked

'I was just going for a walk, but can I ask you something?'

" Yea sure whats up?" he said putting the grocery bags down on his steps.

" Whats wrong with Kalin, he hasnt talked to me ever since we went to the movies last Friday."

"I dont know Jasmine, do you want me to talk to him for you?" he asked me

"no ill talk to him myself,is he home?"

"I think so, I just came home from shopping, he wasn't here when I left but he probably came back You can come in and check if you want" he said, I helped him with the groceries and went upstairs to see if Kalin was there. His door was wide open so i just walked inside. My heart dropped I couldnt believe it.

I stood there in shock, he was making out with a girl on his bed.

"Uhh jasmine its not what it looks like I was jus--" he said but I didn't believe it, I ran downstairs

"Is he up there?" Myles asked me

"Yea he is,but he isn't the only one up there." I said with tears streaming down my face.

I ran out the door. Instead of going home I ran to the a park I have been going to lately so I could be alone. I couldn't believe all of this, I thought he had feelings for me. I sat there crying trying to figure out what the past three weeks meant to him. I tried to calm myself by listening to my favorite songs, until I felt someone's hand on my shoulder .....it was Kalin.

"Hey" he said with a look of guilt on his face.

"Hi" I replied wiping my tears.

"can I explain" he asked.

"I dont know can you... I mean what In there looked pretty serious to me."

"We havent talked in a while, cause I really like you and I kind of thought you werent interested I was scared of rejection he explained.

" that doesnt mean you can use another girl to try and forget everything we had. That hurt me a lot and trust me I like you a lot too "

"I Know and it was a big mistake, I shouldnt have done that."

He sat down on one of the swings beside me and started to swing slowly.

" I really like you Jasmine, and you you always brang up my mood when you were around. Can we please just start over im sorry."

"I like you too Kalin, but I dont know if I am ready to trust you again"

"You can, but take all the time you need, I just hope everything works out" he said

"I hope so too" I replied and he enloped me into a hug. Ater we were done talking, we made our way back home, it was awfully quiet. He stood at the bottom of my door step with his head down and his hands in his pockets, I looked back and spoke.

"Goodbye Kalin"

"I hope it isnt goodbye for too long" he said, I smiled and he made his way to his house.

I opened the door and walked in. I closed the door and took off my shoes.

"YOU TOOK TOO LONG, CAN IT BE A MOVIE DAY INSTEAD OF A MOVIE NIGHT, IM SO BORED" Isabelle whined.

"okay" I said while walking upstairs.

"Where are you going, whats wrong , are you okay?" she asked/

"Im going to go change, ill tell you when I get down"

"Kalin your such an idiot, you should never had done that" Myles kept complaining.

"I know, it was a big mistake" I said

"Dont worry bro everything will go just fine"

"Hopefully"

"Omg im so sorry you had to go through that, I just hope everything will go fine between you too" Isabelle said.

"hopefully" I replied the rest of the day we watched movies and ate pizza. Isabelle fell asleep durning the movie. I decided to go to bed. I picked up the covers that fell on the floor and put it on her, and headed upstairs. I was already dressed in my p.j's so I got in bed. Thoughts on Kalin flowed through my mind. Gosh im going to miss him a lot.
