Chapter 3

Jasmines POV

"That was a long plane ride" I told Isabelle while rubbing my eye with my sleeve.

"I know right, but at least were here now" she replied.

We were finally in California. After we went through the scanner and did all those stuff. We got a ride from a cab driver.

"Where to?" The driver asked us

"1675 McKinnon ave" I replied

My family came here like eveeery summer ,I mean it was pretty fun. But with your best friend since Elementary that's even better. The driver stopped right in front of our house we paid him and then waved goodbye.

"Damn this house is pretty nice." Isabelle said with a huge smile on her face

"Hey, I know right" I replied

"YO I GET THE MASTER BEDROOM" She yelled out.

We stopped and stared at each other for like 10 seconds and we booked it. I ran so fast up the staires and as I was about to run into the room, Isabelle leaped over me and got into the room first.

"Hey that isn't fair, you cheated" I said

"I did not!" She said

"If I knew we were playing leap frog I would've beat you". I said

"Better luck next time" she said as she slammed the door shut.

*3 hours later*

"Hey Jas? She called me with her mouth filled with coco puffs.

"What" I said

"Isn't our luggage supposed to be here by now?" She asked me

I looked at the time and saw it was 4:53

"unm yeah it is it was supposed to be here an hour ago" I replied with a confused look on my face

We both went outside onto our porch, and looked around for a little.

"Maybe they got the wrong address we should go ask our neighbors" Isabelle suggested

Isabelle and I wore our shoes and knocked on the door. She was standing right in front of the door while I was behind her.

The door knob twisted and a medium height guy answered the door he was wearing his Pajama's.

He looked at us and he stuttered while greeting us.

"uh um uh hi hello" he said

"Heey um we were just wondering if you got any bags sent here?" Isabelle asked him

"uh actually yea uh we did" he said as he walked back into his house.

Me and Isabelle gave each other the look and smiled. He got our bags and put them in our house for us.

"Here you go" he said

"Thanks a lot, have a nice day" I said as we started to walk in the house

"hey wait!, I didn't get your names" he said with a smile and a hand held out.

As I was about to shake his hand Isabelle budded in and shook it.

"My name is Isabelle" she told him

He just shook his head and shook my hand

"Jasmine" I said while shaking his hand

"My name is Jake, Jake Parrish. Did you guys just move in." He asked us

"Uh no I actually come here with my family every summer, but isabelle is new here. I replied

"Oh that's cool, you like the bay area, or should I say yay area" he said

Isabelle started to laugh, but I honestly didn't think that was funny so I just smiled at him.

"well it was nice to meet you guy, hopefully ill see you guys next time" he said while shaking our hands again.

"Yea it was nice meeting you too" we both said.

We both left inside and closed the door Isabelle went right back to eating her cereal, and I started to cook some breakfast.

"Hey I thought he was cute, I like the wave in his hair" she said

"Ehh he's alright. " I said to her.

Jakes POV

Wow they are beautiful.

"MYLES! KALIN!" I shouted and ran up the stairs.

"Hey Jake what's up bruh who was at the door?" Kalin asked me

"Some girls came and asked for their suit cases so I gave it to them And I asked for their names and they shook my hands and we started talking about how one of them comes here every summer and then I shook their hands again and I said bye.... And they are beeeaautiful" I said tired and trying to take a breath from talking a lot.

Until Myles slapped me in the face. I was so confused like why would he slap me.

"Bruh what was that for?" I asked him

"Did you forget about dom.... Your girlfriend" he asked me

"Of course not I love her" I replied

"Then you need to forget about all the other girls you meet" he said

"But they are gorgeoouussss..... Not that I want them, but like for you guys" I said

"Hold up bruh... How gorgeous on a scale of 1 to 10?" Kalin asked me

"Honestly a good 18 right now you feel me!" I replied to his question to hyphed
