║Unexplainable║

The Young and short female guard skipped the halls of building 5, a flower pot in her hand and a plastic containing experiment tools in another.

No one knew how but (y/n) managed to become a guard at just the age of 13, obviously making her the youngest and also shortest guard, on top of that, she's the only female guard.

She gets along easily with people, even the hard to handle once so it was no surprise that she managed to become friends with an inmate and the stubborn supervisor.

But despite being friends with practically everyone in the prison, there are times where she gets lonely.

She's still 13 yet already having an adult job.

(Y/n) missed playing with dolls, dressing up, watching cartoons and drawing nonsense on the wall.

Her skipping slowed down a bit as she tried to push those depressing thoughts aside and stopped when she reached Cell 8.

It was silent since every inmate was out in the training ground but (y/n) knew a lazy bum was still lurking in there.

"Qiii!! I brought the plant you needed!" (Y/n) said, quite loudly.

As expected, Qi dashed towards the cell door, making it clank from the impact.

His eyes began sparkling as he looked at the plant in (y/n)'s little hands.

The girl just smiled at her friend's excitement and carefully set the pot down to open his cell door.

Qi imidiatly took the plant from the ground and cradled it like a baby while saying, "you'll become an excellent medicine someday! ....or in a few hours!"

(Y/n) giggled and asked, "Why do you need a motherwort anyway? It's not like you have irregular menstruation or need it for skin treatment....unless..."

Qi went back in his cell, motioning for (y/n) to follow him and set the plant down on a desk, "If you're thinking that it's for the warden then yes, you're right. She said her skin began wrinkling and wanted to get rid of those and surprisingly, she trusts me enough to make the medicine for her."

(y/n) looked up at him in surprised as she said,"Ohh... Can you also make some for me?" She asked shyly.

The older man smirked, already knowing what she needs it for, "Sure sure~~"

*Motherwort is a plant that can be used to get rid of wrinkles or any skin imperfections. It also cures irregular menstruation, in other words, it's a herbal plant for women~(this is a reference from a comic)

After giving Qi the rest of the stuff he wanted, (y/n) head to Samon and the other guards who were in the training ground.

She usually never go there but since Qi was busy and she doesn't want to make a trip to the break room, (y/n) decided to watch the inmates train and maybe chat with some guards.

She came closer to the huge gate that led to the training ground and she could already hear the huffs coming from the inmates.

Once opened, her eyes met a pair of lifeless one's, both got startled by the other.

"Oh. Sorry," (y/n) apologized before running off to Samon.

The boy however, just stared at her retreating form in wonder.
