Craig's POV
The car ride was uneventful. Tweek drove way over the speed limit and didn't say a word, he was still mad from all or our bullshit. He didn't let anything sit next to him, so me, Heidi and Kyle sat in the back. Me on the right, Kyle on the left and Heidi in the middle.
I think Kyle was upset, very upset. He hated me for drugging him and I hated myself for doing it too. I only made things worse with all of that. Maybe he would've chose to stay with me if I wouldn't have done such a stupid thing. Now I lost the only person who ever meant anything to me. At least now I know that living any longer is pointless. This was my only chance and I screwed it all up.
We arrived to South Park around sunrise. Soft pink glow lit the rooftops. The air was cold, winter is coming.
Tweek first stopped at Heidi's house. None of us said anything. Heidi got out, but before we drove away, she turned back. "I was just trying to help." She mumbled. "Well you didn't fucking help!" Kyle snapped, he was clearly frustrated by everyone and everything around him. Before the argument got any bigger, Tweek drove away.
The atmosphere got even more awkward now that no one separated me from Kyle. I felt like Kyle would be able to threw himself at me, and beat the shit out of me. And I wouldn't mind it at all, I deserve it, I deserve all the pain in the world...I deserve to die...I want to die.
The next stop was Kyle's house. He got out, didn't even bothered to look at me or wave goodbye, he just left. The fact that he didn't say anything was even worse, kick me, punch me, hate me, but for the love of god...don't ignore me. Don't act like nothing happened, don't tell me that this was all pointless!
I wanted to scream, but nothing came out on my mouth, like my body wasn't completely mine, it felt strange, unfamiliar...like everything around me. I looked at the houses, none of them looked familiar. Then I looked back at Kyle, I felt relieved for a second, he was still himself. But everything other than Kyle started fading away.
We drove away, now it was just me and Tweek. It's been literal years since we were together alone, and not in school. Honestly, I don't think we were ever together alone in a place that wasn't school. People believed that we were lovers, but in real life, I barely knew anything about him, he was a complete stranger to me, and I'm sure he thinks about me the same way too.
Tweek stopped at a blank and boring house, it looked strange, like everything. It didn't remind me of anything, just a random house. Then I came to the realization that it was probably my house, I lived my whole childhood here and now it doesn't mean anything more than pieces of rocks to me. I was about to get out of the car, but then Tweek spoke. "He's mad at you." He said without looking at me. "I know." I leaned back on my seat, still staring at the blank house. "He won't forgive you that easily, like I did." I knew what he meant by this, Tweek was never even mad at me in the first place. He never felt anything for me, maybe that's why he couldn't ever be really upset with me, we were complete strangers. "I know." I responded, still looking out on the window. "And you a-also know why is that?" He frowned. I didn't know the exact answer, I had lots of ideas but none of them seemed to be right. But I don't think Tweek even waited for an answer because he immediately responded to his own question. "It's because he loves you." It was nice of him to assume such thing, it would be great if it was actually true. But Tweek doesn't know Kyle we'll enough, he would never love a monster like me.
I got out of the car without saying a word, it would've been unnecessary to keep that conversation going with Tweek. Neither of us really wanted to talk. Tweek drove away and I was left there by myself, in front of my own house. I've never felt lonelier, maybe a few weeks ago standing here all alone wouldn't mean anything.
