Cassandra
The next day I woke up and managed to forget about yesterday. Me catching Draco and Pansy together and soon crying myself to sleep about it.
I walked to the dining hall with a forced smile on my face.
Draco
I noticed Cass walking into the Dining hall with a smile on her face, causing me to think the tears I saw forming in the corner of her eyes yesterday was just my imagination. She planted her body next to Cedrics at the Hufflepuff table and I snickered, 'Traitor'
"What are you looking at?" Pansy asked noisily.
"Oh, should've known," she coughed, realizing my eyes were fixated on Cass.
"What? I can't look at anyone?" I questioned.
"Sure, but not her."
I laughed, "Do you think because I kissed you means I'm in love with you, Pansy? Can you get more pathetic?" I frowned as I watched her face fall. I rolled my eyes at her sensitivity.
"You're too confusing for me, Draco."
"Well, good thing I'm not yours," and with that, the small fling with Pansy was over.I swiftly stood up and made my way to my first class.
Cassandra
I walked silently to Potions class. I was turning a corner when my hand was suddenly being pulled into an empty classroom.
"What the hell?" I yelled in confusion. My eyes met his grey ones, "Be quiet, will you?" he whispered."I'm not in a good mood and you're uncooperation won't help that," he advised with a clenched jaw.
"What do you want?" I asked impatiently.
"I need to speak with you."
"Oh my, whatever about?" I sarcastically asked in a joyful tone.Draco ignored me.
"Tell me you hate me," he urged earning a puzzled look from me.
"You don't need me to tell you, you should already know that," I replied, cockily. He stared at me and it felt like his grey, emotionless eyes would never stop staring so I obliged.
"I hate you, Malfoy," I stated. He sighed, "Like you mean it," he persisted.
"Trust me, I do," I chuckled. He smoothly brought a hand to the wall I was leaned against, making me unable to move with his tall body trapping me.
"Tell me you hate me so it can be easier. Tell me you wish we never met and that I'm a horrible person. Anything to make it easier," he begged and for a second I thought he might cry.
"Alright, you're acting weird. What's going on?" I asked curiously, trying to hide my laugh at his ridiculousness.
"Did it work at least?" he started, "My attempt in making you jealous?" he finished with thinned eyes at me.
"What?" I cleared my throat.
"Don't lie, I know it worked. I know I saw tears filling those sad, brown eyes," he tormented. I stayed silent as my heart race quickened.
"Tell me you didn't hate the way I wrapped my arms around Pansys' waist. You did see us in her room didn't you? My lips on hers as her hands played with my hair. Don't you wish it was you? Don't you wish it were you who I kissed, and touched? Don't be a liar Cass," he smirked, leaving me speechless, and not in a good way.His ability to get under my skin like no other made me miserable. The thing I hated the most was that he was right. The fact that I secretly wished it would've been me.
"You're sick, Malfoy." I stared in disgust. He brought his hand to my neck and kept his eyes fixated on mine.
"Aren't I right? You want me to touch you" -he started again making my blood boil- "like this," he slurred pushing away my robes to touch my bare skin. He pulled my waist closer toward him.
"Do you want me to?" he whispered in my ear sending goosebumps down my spine. I almost said yes before I stopped myself."I think it's you who wants to touch me" -I stated boldly- "like this," I imitated, grabbing his hands and placing them higher up my waist to my back.
"You want me so bad, don't you? This is why you put on this front. You're too much of a coward to admit it," I whispered in his ear. His eyes locked on mine once again
"I'm not a coward, and I don't want you."
"Don't be a liar Draco, You want me more than you could ever want Pansy. You know she doesn't make you feel like I do. Does she make your breathing heavy? Or make your skin burn as I touch it?" I started as I reached the sides of his face with my hands. I buried my hands in his hair, "So you were jealous?" Draco smirked.
"In your dreams. Literally, don't act like I didn't hear you calling my name in your sleep," I laughed making his eyes widen. I brought my hands to his chest and pushed him off of me.
"You know it don't you? I'll never want you the way you want me. I make you nervous by just glancing back at you. You're pathetic, Draco. But you can't stop. Look me in the eyes and tell you don't desperately want me right now," I tested him.It was an exhilarating feeling, knowing how much power I held over him. I guess in a way, he held the same power over me.
"You're dead to me Castro," he spat, unlatching his eyes from mine and walking away, leaving me alone in the empty, dark classroom.
I hope my words hurt him more than he has hurt me. I hope he knows I meant them, because for once, I did.
