I sat in the principal's office , tapping my leg furiously on the tile floor . But I wasn't mad , tbh I was scared shitless. My mom is going to freak and probably shove me through her fax machine and ship me off to a boarding school in west bubba fuck .
" alright so I watched what happened on the security camera. After watching both confrontations , Dominique will be suspended for a week . As for you , I haven't had any problems with you so far and today is just the first day of school , you're a new student , new environment and kids here may see you as freshmeat . I'm pretty sure after what happened in the cafeteria though , no other kids are gonna mess with you. " he chuckles.

"Soo I'm not in trouble ? " I question leaning forward in my seat . Excitedly .

"Not quite... But " I huffed and slouched back down . There's always a god damn but .
"I can't not make you pay for your actions , you could've hurt that girl , matter of fact you did hurt her , she was bleeding . Now I don't want to suspend you on your first day , and don't think I'm picking favorites by suspending her , she's been in trouble for a while now , in summer school and last year . But as your punishment you have 1 hour detention after school everyday for 1 week . Okay ? "

I groan " okay , but can you do me a favor and not tell my mom , she'll freak out , and ..." I trail off seeing the look on his face . " I just don't want you to tell her , it's better if she hears it from me instead of you , or anyone else . "

" fine " he agrees .
"Thank you Principal. jackson ." I say standing and heading towards the door.

"No problem , stay out of trouble !" He says as I close the door behind me , a little glad I didn't get suspended on the first day of school .
